Firstly, I think she sings live which is more than can be said for most pop artists. She sounds good in my book. I think the ultimate problem with today's common listening audience, is they're waiting for produced music to come naturally on a stage. It's never going to happen. She reworked this song so she could actually sing it well, which she succeeded in.
