Efren Taylor? What about the VATICAN creators of the ChristPsychosis anomaly around 325ce which, mutated, divided & STILL with us today?
GODBelief & other Schizophrenia-like disorders which NOBODY seems to see, are malfunctions of the BRAIN
Ingest peyotl,Datura or Amanita & you too WILL write a Bible,Qu'ran or any other ancient Holy Book created by ingesting DRUGS, & the ignorant ZombieGod believers, see as TRUE this 21 Century
They don't realize a LOBOTOMY will REMOVE their ZombieGodBelief
This is classic ChristPSychosis. The BRAIN is the creator of the bizarre metamagical Beliefs found in ALL RELIGIONS, schizophrenia & other neurological disorders.
The problem is Christianity infected AMERICA where FAITH a resurrected zombie named Jesus Christ was killed then resurrected to save with his blood for SIN is ACCEPTED as TRUE by parents, schools & in Churches, which are nothing more than DENS of Zombie PSYCHOSIS Ignorance. They are ANTI SCIENCE. Dumb God-Idiots ALWAYS get CONNED.
So, 15 years ago, the faith community got together in my little town and created a resource for people having a rough time. There was a food bank along with financial aid for a month's rent, a gas bill, and the like. The lady they hired to run this agency was a highly regarded woman of the church. She began a thrift store as an additional source of income besides the pledging from the churches.
She spent a lot of time researching and writing grants to increase the money available to the community and apparently herself. She was arrested a few weeks ago for embezzling more than 20k over the past 15 years.
Yesterday, the story broke of a local school principal...a private Catholic school principal who was arrested for embezzling more than 100k over the past 10 years.
Face it: gods do not need your money, they can take care of themselves - ain't they all power(less) and such? Now if there was a goddess dressed in leather and I had the means and she was willing, I'd spend some euros on her, but she'd better deliver if she would want me spend more!
Part of me wants to laugh at these people. "Biblically sound FINANCIAL advice"? It is a sad thing when that sounds the least bit credible to anyone.
I also get very angry at the bastards who take advantage this way, but it reminds me of why we must speak out against this bullshit.
And there is even some hope in it. I find it encouraging that the lady says it makes her question her faith. It might be a painful process but "once burnt is twice shy".
I'm sad to say that these people are probably seen as being so "ripe for the plucking" because their world view inherently demonstrates their propensity towards gullibility.
What the hell is "Biblically Sound" investing? It is astonishing that so many people will turn their mind off and accept anything as legitimate if the words "Bible" or "Biblical" are inserted into the conversation somewhere.
It is the task of the Theocrat parasite, to instil fear, then to use that fear to feed off of those who have been conned into a transference of faith.
The reason that the overtly theocratic are not being prosecuted, is that the coverts, the Mammonist Theocracy, that on paper owns our asses, might also then be exposed to the law. That's why Mammonists find useful employment for their more stupid Dominionist Theocracy puppets, as politicians, and "fund raisers" like this guy.
Trust me when I say he's not the only one that does this. There's plenty preachers like him that do this....especially when you look at some of the people on TBN or one of those other religious networks.
The real danger is that people believe this crap. Seriously, until humanity grows up, people will continue to blindly believe in crap. Faith is belief in something even in face of evidence to the contrary, if that doesn't sound like fraud I dont know what does. Put down the book that tells you to unquestioningly believe, and actually start paying attention to the reality that you are in. No sky fairy is going to rescue, or save you from your own stupidity.
If a person is going to dedicate themselves to something faith based like Christianity, I feel like they've already put knowledge of reality on the back-burner.
If you're going to seek "biblically sound advice" of any kind, you should not be surprised when your actions get you negative real world consequences.
It's a shame that so many people got manipulated by this guy, but I'm glad that at least the negative attention he gets can be associated with religion.
@nanoday1 There is a tipping point of awareness, that once a person is past, they realize just how unaware they've been. Most Americans are no longer allowed to reach that level of cognition, where they may become metacognitive. It is dangerous to a tyranny, to have mentally competent slaves. People are only taught the consequences of nonconformity.
This guy is a theocrat, a predator, like the rest of the 1%.
But I'll agree, that an honest person is hard to con. Immortality is tempting bait.
Well, where would you go to find ignoramuses who believe any hogwash some scumbag liar tells them? I have not even a sliver of sympathy for these people. If they want to live a fairy tale they should at least read the guidebook. I suggest the section on dromedaries and sewing implements and people with more money than they need to survive as a start. FUCK stupid Xians. That woman who lost her home? I hope her kids are too busy supporting _her_ to have more kids of their own.
@prodigyat9 You wrote: "I have not even a sliver of sympathy for these people."
I'm sorry you feel that way. I think there's no excuse for violating trust, no matter how gullible people are. Anyone who's taken advantage of like that, for any reason, has my sympathy. This is why it's so important that people learn to stop trusting others based on faith. These are real people, in real pain. They need to be educated, not blamed for being victimized. I hope they get at least some of their $ back.
I have no sympathy for a person who jumps off a building but I have plenty for the person they land on. If a person is victimized that is reason for sympathy but NOT if they victimize themselves. Do you want to bet many of those people had kids or parents or families who warned them not to give this guy money? I would give odds on it. Wanna bet they said how can you say bad things about a good christian like that?
@prodigyat9 A person who jumps off a building knows they're going to end up injured or dead. A person who places trust in another, regardless of their motivation, does not expect to be harmed. I understand your frustration with the fact that they base their trust on faith, but that's why I think education is key. Blaming victims is not my thing.
So what? I am 57 years old and have an IQ in the 150 range; I am pretty sure I know who I consider an innocent victim and who I don't. If you think you are a better person than me with that liberal bullshit of everyone deserves sympathy than fine but as you said THAT is not me. Personal responsibility will fix the world faster than unearned sympathy. And with that I am done with this silly exchange.
@prodigyat9 Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't tell you what you think, I told you what I think. I didn't say I'm better than you, and I never said I'm a liberal. I have no idea why you've become so hostile. I explained why I feel differently than you do because I don't understand how anyone can not empathize with someone else's pain. Your anger and rudeness are totally uncalled for.
This is really astonishing, not that the preacher took these ppl for a ride, but that ppl would actually go to a church for "biblically sound FINANCIAL advice"? Another perfect example as to why religion is DANGEROUS to society.
@FreeformTao The biggest part is that he IS NOT a preacher, but a ponzi schemer! He's acting as an investment counselor within churches. It's amazingly simple, and effective! What a scumbag.
@ChunxOfEarth Agreed. But this is a great example as to how churches areusing their influence over ppl to control them, morally, sexually, politically, & economically. Seriously, I don't understand how ppl give THIS MUCH or the PERSONAL POWER over to a religion. They completely surrender to an illegitimate authority in my opinion in the name of a god none have been able to prove exists... Seriously, the church needs to stay the FUCK out of our lives & wallets & ppl need to stop being sheep.
Of course the problem with that is these people are old enough to know where to buy a flashlight and a good meal but they still insist on staying in the dark eating shit.
@FreeformTao This is what I'm trying to explain to you. They are not empowering religions, because these are not religions, anymore. They are Theocracies.
Perspective; Vatican=religion? No. It's a crime syndicate.
The idiots don't know that they are conspiring to commit treason, because we keep towing the theocratic line, claiming that it's all religion's fault.
No, it's our fault, for swallowing Theocratic cock, and helping to sell the bullshit, blaming and shaming the victims, for 125 years.
@DonQuixotedeKaw This is an interesting take; but I feel that you are confusing religion with spirituality & like your view that theocracy & religion are not the same, religion & spirituality are not the same. In the end these are all just word games. Theocracy/Religion IS very dangerous to a population for the very reasons you mentioned -predators. As soon as you systemitize sprituality you are going to get predators. Religion breeds them & Theocracy gives them the platform with which to prey.
@FreeformTao I recognize separate natures to spirituality & religion.
I've practiced all 3.
Theocracy is grifting, a forgotten crime, swept under the rug. The motivation is treasonous; to create a populace that is too unaware that it is prey, to defend itself. Too many of us are not cognitively competent enough, to be "citizens".
Religions would disperse into mere philosophies, without theocracy force feeding it.
@FreeformTao I disagree with the idea that these "word games" are frivolous.
It is an absence of clarity, that has led humanity to its current precipice.
The distinctions are vital. In 1886, the fraudulent Santa Clara v SPRR "opinion" created the means for theocracy to appear legal, again. 125 years later, though many machinations of power brokering, we are under the dictates of a priesthood plutarchy, of 400 sciopathic avarice addicts, who worship Mammon, as the idol of corporate personhood.
@FreeformTao What must be made clear, is that 501c3's, are also corporations, most of which are Dominionist controlled, in North America, regardless of whch sect is claimed. Taylor: "Give me your money and I'll invest it!"
Sucker: "OK, here you go"... "OK, when will I get my interest on my investment?"
