Barak Obama went to a school where the kids were all white and asian. If he went to an inner-city school in Chicago where the kids were all Black and from broken homes, I doubt he'd have turned out so well.
No, he grew up on a poor farm in Indonesia with a abusive stepfather. Obama grew up with a single parent trying to keep her two kids out of trouble. And while the rest of his friends were dropping out of high school, he was trying to get a scholarship to a good college. It doesn't matter the location, it matters on the drive of the person. Also, F.Y.I., the two last college massacres were committed by Asians.
"Abusive stepfather"? I've done a lot of research on Obama and nowhere did he, his mother, or his sister describe his stepfather that way.
He had the drive only because his mother and grandparents were there, showing him the way.
Btw, the Virginia Tech killer may have been Asian, but that's not what made him do it. He was Autistic, and he never received any therapy for it. That's why he he developed psychosis.
...and I quote "His race had nothing to do with it." At the same time you said, "Barak Obama went to a school where the kids were all white and asian. If he went to an inner-city school in Chicago where the kids were all Black and from broken homes, I doubt he'd have turned out so well." A little confused?
At the time Barak Obama was in High School, things were different. But you're right about one thing; going to a dominantly white high school won't necessarily make things better. I've seen a lot of schools where the kids are all white and they're all from broken homes and using drugs.
If you want your children to be educated with Black children, it has to be in THE BEST school for Black children. I taught in a Charter School in Harlem that was all Black, but the kids read perfectly.
why does Bill Cosby act like an asshole at the very end? watch... he gets all pissy. is it because Rachel looked at her notes as she concluded? what a jerk.
[ January 16, 1997] & I agree that the sociological term Stratification lacks definition, especially in Standardized Testing in schools. I spent hours in front of the TV with Mr. Cosby doing my PICTURE PAGES, who always provided quality family programming.... They did not allow Feminism in the college textbook until 2002 & the Psychological concept of the Bystander Effect did not go into the texts until 2007. This is special and so is Bill Cosby !♡
Wow! Bill Cosby is getting old! I don't know if that beard helps his look! But I loved the Bill Cosby Show growing up...did he vote No on Prop 8? Hmmm...
A white man. Grew up watching Dr. Cosby. Reading his books. Listening to his albums. Watching his television. I can honestly say I heard him as a "black" man, but never perceived him as racial artifact. Only a man.
I learned from his comedy. Cried for his tragedy. Grew from his humanity(I still weep for Enis).
We are better for his presence on this blue marble.
Thank you, sir.

Bill Cosby wants a 'sense of dignity'
