brady corbet seems to have made a very strong connection. hes been very young, making that movie. he acted very well. and it shows, that this intense scene with joseph got to him. maybe hes been a little in love with him :} nothing wrong with that. guess it just happened

i read it as simply as this. joseph looks a tad uncomfortable sitting next to brad, but i don't think it's for any reason other than the age difference. i think it's clear he doesn't take him as seriously judging by his facial expressions, it almost looks to me as if he finds it funny, since maybe he's been in show business longer? and brady clearly is attracted to joseph, which might also add to the tension, but joe doesn't look too much into that. i found the interview intriguing. ;]

Did anyone else notice how focused Brad was when Joe was speaking? Body language says a lot and by the way Brad was Licking his lips and repeatedly pulling his bangs out of his eyes it appears as if he had a little "thing" for Joe. But who could blame him? Brady is very articulate. He is making sure to get his response across very clearly. I understand him perfectly. Joseph is more short worded and relaxed with his speaking. (I do hear a bit of an accent in Brady) I wonder. Also, the point of an interview is to get the person speaking a lot! So when you write you, you'll have a lot to work off of.

I don't think that Brady and Joseph DISLIKE each other... I think it may be down to the fact that at the time the film was being made, Brady was 16 and Joseph was 23. They may not get on just because there was a large age difference between them both, not much common ground perhaps?

I've just seen Mysterious Skin, and it really left me with an ache in my heart. Now that I'm watching this interview with both main actors, I must say that Brady Corbet - like a lot of people seem to think - speaks a lot. He keeps droning on and on and on (the post-partum depression comment really had me laughing:)) but it's just empty words. On a side note, I was impressed with his portrayal of Brian in the movie.

JGL is amazing. He makes it *so* clear to me, how he experiences everything.

Haha why is everyone hating on Brady? Keep in mind that he's about 7 years younger than Joseph and obviously a lot less experienced when it comes to interviews. Cut him some slack. His accent thing was a little weird though, I have to admit. But whatever. As long as they keep up the great acting I'm happy.
