  • What were the numbers of the 2 37s between 1:25 and 1:29?

Wish they would use those when it snows again...

Great video by the way, thanks for uploading

  • What is the difference between a 313 and 315?

  • @goodchappy

whilst they have the same basic bodyshells the 313 has 3 carriages and can take power from both 25000v ac overhead wires and 750v dc third whilst the 315 has 4 carriages and is restricted to overhead wires only.

The 314 used in Strathclyde (Glasgow area) is also an 'overhead-wire only' variant whilst the 507 and 508 which are used on Merseyside (Liverpool area) are 'third-rail only' variants.

    Simon

  • @citytransportinfo Thanks. I guess the 313s were more expensive then.

  • @citytransportinfo well said :)

  • Nice video and a good view on a snowplough at 1:23

  • @collieultimo

I hope they still have that snowplough... weather pundits are saying that we are on the brink of another cold and snowy winter... (2011 - 2012)
