Please, no one take this the wrong way. If this is super confusing to you, you should totally take up drums before anything else. It will help so much. When I look at sheet music I think where everything would go if it was placed on drum tabs.
@sesameseed77 I never read music, but this seems to make sense, and the riffs i have produced, even in high school follow this pattern. Is it kind of natural?
I am in the same situation as the guy below, I am learning guitar and currently began to learn how to read music, man its amazing... like learning the language of our consciousness.
Thank you for your videos, they sure help, even though you are far away your teachings reach the other side of the world.Ha. Funny isnt it.
@BIGOTES911 are you like me, been playing for several years and just now learning stuff like intervals and how to read music? ive found thats pretty common among guitar players who grew up listening to the song and getting the tab
This video was very fortuitous, for me. I'm currently trying to learn to play guitar and was having trouble envisioning the different timing notations. This helps out a lot! Thanks!
Wow this is perfect. Thank you for this.

so, the upper numbers 3 and 4 in 3/4 and 4/4 means the number of beats but what does the lower number 4 means?
wildwestpoint 4 months ago
@wildwestpoint the bottom number tells you what kind of note gets one beat - don't ask me to explain that though: )
