  • Wow this is perfect. Thank you for this.

  • so, the upper numbers 3 and 4 in 3/4 and 4/4 means the number of beats but what does the lower number 4 means?

  • @wildwestpoint the bottom number tells you what kind of note gets one beat - don't ask me to explain that though: )

  • Please, no one take this the wrong way. If this is super confusing to you, you should totally take up drums before anything else. It will help so much. When I look at sheet music I think where everything would go if it was placed on drum tabs.

  • @snowsamurai00 i think that's a great idea

  • it also helps me understand the beating of the note...

  • thanks random guy punching a garbage bag!

  • i thought this is for guitar.. -_-

  • this simple video totally helped me understand better.

  • yea im learning how to play guitar also!

  • great great great! i´m so thick at learning time! useful video!

  • This is honestly one of the most helpful things that has contributed to further curing my rhythmic retardation. Thank you much.

  • Ah-hah :)

  • what is the name of this melody? its so simple, yet so pretty.

  • you were more effective than waltribeiro...he gets on my nerves!!

  • Nice, nice, VERY NICE!!!

  • Helpfull

  • thanks

  • Thanks God i started first with drumming, counting is not the biggest issue. now just the melody and harmony. lmao

  • HAHA not as funny as the other vid but just as helpful... thanks again

  • So simple, yet it helps a lot. Awesome. 5 stars.

  • that was so simple yet so informative. Thanks alot

  • Thank you for creating this. Simple, yet informing for beginners.

  • Relaxing...

  • a useful tool to help teach someone counting music and time.

  • ne bu..

  • i do not understand anything xDD

    but it sounds nice :P

  • try counting along!

  • @sesameseed77 I never read music, but this seems to make sense, and the riffs i have produced, even in high school follow this pattern. Is it kind of natural?

  • I am in the same situation as the guy below, I am learning guitar and currently began to learn how to read music, man its amazing... like learning the language of our consciousness.

Thank you for your videos, they sure help, even though you are far away your teachings reach the other side of the world.Ha. Funny isnt it.

  • With the internet, we are all connected. :)

  • @BIGOTES911 are you like me, been playing for several years and just now learning stuff like intervals and how to read music? ive found thats pretty common among guitar players who grew up listening to the song and getting the tab

  • This video was very fortuitous, for me. I'm currently trying to learn to play guitar and was having trouble envisioning the different timing notations. This helps out a lot! Thanks!

  • Glad to be of help. :)
