I find it funny that the person who uploaded this feels so inadequate that he feels he has to put that it's an english song. Quite sad really.

Why do they always write "auld land syne"??? its "auld lanG syne", man.. I'm german, but even I know a bit bout old english.. no offense :P

i checked the spelling on google befour i put it on,but now i have checked it the way you say and i found it that way to,thanks for letting me know.
its not old english its old scottish ..the song was written by great scottish poet robbert (rabbie in scottish lol) burns.
