  • so i downloaded EN for both android and iphone. I kinda see its easier than using gmail to save notes. but really how is it better?

  • wtf was that?

  • Soo... what's Evernote?

  • oooh, elephants...

    here, have my money

  • I think this video would be much better if it didn't jump all the time. Elephants at Evernote, can I just ask you to get a better video making program? Great.

  • holy mother fucking shit fuck... get to the fucking point eh. pardon my french. in English that means "please sir, what are you talking about?" this obviously too long for a commercial so i dont know why they would make such a large video for there product that has really no information as too what this product is about or does. same on you evernote. all my disappointment lies in the fact that they took the time to create a great product and shit the bed in this video.

  • Lag is in the video

  • I dig Happy Endings, Especially at the good hands people at the Asian Massage & Take out down the street :-)

  • Yes. Why think when you could have a computer do it for you?

  • I love this video so much xD

  • An awesomeness machine, love it!

  • I click:

"check out our collection of short instructional videos"

    and this trash pops up.....??

You cut me deep, Evernote. You cut me real deep.

  • Is Jill married? She can control the information and she can also control me if she wants

  • If I would have seen this video before I downloaded the app and the software to my computer, I would have not downloaded them. This is bad and crazy. But let's see how the software itself will do...

  • attention all evernote customers: the developers of evernote are on LSD that is all...

  • Not bad.

  • Well I think the video is very nice. It reminds me english educational programs and some interactive movie games.

  • It's like a 1950's childrens programme.

  • hmmm elephants!

  • Speaking about sexism... how about showing "Jill" as a loser and "Jack" as a smart "superhuman" for a change? Nah - think about the backlash.

  • I always wondered why the icon was of an elephant...

  • i think evernote is pretty cool

  • Wow, I still have no idea why I want to use this product and you spent 2 minutes pretending like you were going to tell me just that.

  • I currently use MS OneNote, but the HD caching is really pissing me off (if you edit or add something a few seconds later the program hangs for a minute+ as it caches all the data). Does Evernote do this?

  • This is cute and funny. =)

  • Very cute, and a bold advertising move. This creative ad has made me much more likely to use this site.

  • I love the Elephants !

  • Always the woman who's got the better solution, the better method, in these ads. The guy is always shown as dumb. Wonder if women are so sensitive that if the roles were reversed, they would be so offended.

Also, what a stupid ad for an otherwise good product. Don't be turned off by this stupidity, people. The software is actually okay.

  • Oh my Gosh, this doesn't explain ANYTHING. Huge fail...

  • Comment removed

  • nice ad, a little bit longer but just a note. wasnt jack married? Does evernote promotes polygamia? If so i want it!

  • Ok.. this stupid video aside.. Is this thing only for some kind of pocket pc? How is it better than notepad?

  • @jameshanley40 Look at evernote.com...WAAY more to it than pocketpc

  • Too many idiots out there scrutinize what they just don't understand. To all the haters of this masterfully creative and original way to introduce a new product to the marketplace, I hereby deem you "ignant" (short for ignorant).

  • This video made me want to kill myself!

  • WTF, how in the world did this video explain exactly how it works?

  • hey, what's she doin with her right hand in 0:20? i notice the other one is typing in her laptop but whats the the other thing?

  • worst step-motion .. info video .. ever !! #FAIL

  • @kalamoni if it had been made in the 60s, this would probably have 21 million views and be called a timeless classic of cinematography and the father of innovative advertisement.

  • my internet crashed whilst i was waiting for this to load so i read all the comments before watching.

    1) this truly was an awful product info video. no idea as to how evernote does anything of the things is boasts it can do so well.

    2) WAS this designed for 10 years olds?!

    3) was looking forward to seeing her before having read the comments, and was not let down, jill is definitely hot.

  • 4 million members and growing!

  • not a gud product info video! Too kidish! XD

  • After viewing this video, I still have no idea how this product works. I friend swears by it, so I will look deeper into the site and try to figger it out. But when will companies learn that factual information = good marketing. Cute fluff = annoying turn off.

  • i visited their site and clicked learn more and watch this video and still don't really understand exactly what this service exactly does. It grabs my information from anywhere and transports it to a magical world of elephants...so they turn my images, clippings and notes into a sort of online magazine or what exactly? Product info FAIL!

  • ok....

  • Is this for 10 year old kids? Or why is the narrator talking like that? ... magical clouds of elephants ... gosh!

  • does jill come with evernote?

  • Great video. I love Evernote.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • this is so silly!

  • LoL hear: The Announcer makes a mistake at 1:98 Ef ferthing

  • @jjhhaarrddyy 1:98? hahaha

  • @whiterabbitpress sorry... i mean 1:58 ;D

  • sounds like a more complicated way of doing bookmarks!

  • Brilliant piece of video... Well done EN.

Super scripting, a storyline to follow, some gleeful wackiness.

    Brilliant.

  • A very well made ad.

  • I'm sorry, a user scenario video is supposed to be CLEAR and illustrate a use for a product. Trying to be cute and funny, while not explaining ANYTHING is a waste of time and doesn't make me want to try your product. Wtf.

  • @HarvieDanger this video is a failure

  • @HarvieDanger

It's pretty obvious that the product is a mobile phone and Internet enabled version of OneNote, but given the Apple product marketing spitshine.

  • lol at the notemonster =P

  • Hands down the dumbest product info video ever!

  • I am sorry, but have you seen the Windows 7 launch party videos? This is emmy material in comparison.

  • @johoolio xD True but it was pretty funny too

  • @johoolio I couldnt agree. What was this?

  • Cute video.

  • I need more videos with Jill.

  • Jill's pretty hot.

  • @DanVath I want her tits in my mouth.

  • @DanVath and you're pretty horny :)

  • funny video :D

  • Not a note-monster. more like a jackofasaurus.

  • the film is cute, the information is nonexistent - but evernote is cool, I use it. That's why I like this video...

  • Fluff piece, yes.

    Useful information? Barely.

  • am i the only one that can see the nazi connotations here?

  • what an awesome video

  • Love this "commercial"! 10/10

  • Evernote is awesome. I use it to: * send various thoughts throughout the day via Outlook or my mobile phone text message * store family photos as a virtual photo album * to do lists * spreadsheets * word documents * MP3 music * bookmarks, links * lists of EVERYTHING I need for any situation * organize research into folders * store all contact phone #, address, email * passwords * If I see a cool article on the web, I clip it straight to Evernote * access everything via mobile phone
  • I love Evernote and tell everyone I can about it, but this video was dumb and I will stick to the original video you had on your website as I find it's much more informative than this nonsense to potential users.

  • I want to be Jill not Jack -- especially with all those arms!

  • i thought this was the cutest thing ever. i love evernote!

  • of course it's geared toward mac users...all interface..nothing under the hood (other than synching badassery).

This video makes me appreciate scrapbook even more.

  • HAHAHA xD Nice!!!!

  • Awesome video, yea evernote. Horaay notes! Ps. Horaay Apple iPhone and notebooks! Pc evernote second gen coming soon. Horaay work computer!

  • I use it on the iphone, it is amazing, i like the idea of making voice notes, and love the automated syncornisation.

  • OMG! I need this!

    OMG! I AM JACK!!!

    lol

  • Funny Clip and they choose elephants cause the know as who's remember everything. :-)

I got it on my iPhone and it works :)

  • Чудесно! :)

  • приятно видеть строчку на русском среди моря англоязычного контента ) Видео конечно, удался :) респект авторам

Evernote is an awesome tool, and this video is unforgettable!

  • A note monster, the cloud of elephants and pretty Jill make me believe.

    :-)

  • Amusing and well-produced little video. (Also love the "Actual Evernote Process.)

Evernote really is a great service, especially since it's multi-platform; they just need to allow the latest Windows Mobile clients to function WITHOUT an Internet connection and sync the data when there is one (I use a phoneless hx4700), and the desktop Windows client could use ink AND text in the same note (I'm also a Tablet PC user).

  • LOL!!!

    Love the "Actual Evernote Process"

  • Is there an elephant union? Looks like hard work.

  • I use it!

  • Yeahhhh Cool!!!!
