@saugagirl83 Thank you...Another user also brought this to my attention last year. While I am saddened that she was not found safely, I am happy that the family/friends have closure and will be able to lay her to rest.
@MrsStarSpooky No problem. And I agree with you; at least her family was able to give her a proper burial. Sadly, many families never get that chance. One positive thing I'd like to mention though: I recently watched another video of missing children (which was made a few years ago), and Jaycee Dugard was featured in it. We all know what a happy ending she and her family got! :) I heard she wrote a book about her captivity that's supposed to be out next year. Can't wait to read it!
The sad part is that statistically, children who are abducted by non-family members, have a very slim chance of surviving past a 24-48 hour window from the time of abduction. So the chances of many of these children being alive. But the ones that are recovered make it worth everything.
@MrsStarSpooky there are some evil evil ppl in this world - who dont deserve o have beautiful children - i cant believe the numbers of children that go "missing" - not the ones just abducted by family due to custody issues etc
@cindynew2002 Yes, unfortunately, the photos of these children are photos that were taken at the approximate age that they were when they went missing. Sad, right? :'(
They have found the remains of Jean Stewart, I think it was last year. Her bones were found around 1982 or '83 and she was a Jane Doe, until last year.
Jean Stewart's remains were found in April 1981. However, they were not identified until 2008.
