One argument they did NOT even bother to try to use was that Jesus Christ had not existed. They couldn't. The bible is the most misunderstood book I have ever had the pleasure to read. There are words used in the bible that are not translated correctly. But the one thing you need in order to read and understand the bible is the Holy Spirit. If you don't have that first, its just a book. Your heart cannot understand the meaning of what is written if you are trying to apply worldly logic to it.
If you need the Holy Spirit to read the Bible then why the Holy Spirit betrays you and then divide into sects and denominations? In the first place the easiest way for the Holy spirit to help those who translated the Bible. So Holy Spirit was with Jesus and filled everyone but Holy Spirit failed to fill those who translated the Bible, so it is not the Holy Spirit that guides you but the devil. In Genesis, it says God created the world in 6 days, however, when the Bible was translated from Hebrew to english, they messed up a lot of the words. @longulbogdan Jesus spoke in parables (which is a fact); a statement or comment that conveys a meaning indirectly by the use of comparison, analogy, or the like. So those verses aren't literal. I think u and i are both putting in our opinions and we are both letting our emotions get the both of us.
@AdorIslam Why did Jesus speak in parables? I'm not sure. I may never know why until i get to Heaven. I think (this is just what i think, i could be wrong) He spoke in parables to help us to better understand God's word. Because many things He taught us, we couldnt understand because we are human and we dont have the mental capacity to understand it. So if He spoke indirectly in parables, we could understand it a little better.

@OmegaSeekerr (continued) the vision is reduced, but the the brain tries to compensate, by copying parts of the edges of what the subject can see, and placing it in the missing parts of the eye-sight. But theres a limit to this, and a few seconds more without sufficient oxygen and the brain is no longer able to compensate. So suddenly you can only see a small light in darkness. Thats the part of the visual cortex that still functions. Thats the source to the myth of an afterlife

@OmegaSeekerr yeah i saw a few of those reports, they showed a worsening in those that were prayed for, they think its because the subjects felt they had to do better. And stress is not helping a recovery. But sure, more controlled experiments might give a better clue, if any change will occur at all. However, on the near death studies, did they mention why people see a tunnel when they are about to die? no? ill tell you then, 1/4 of the brain is dedicated to vision, when the brain lacks oxygen

@oneleggedspider except that Carl Jung wasn't an historian and would probably have taken it at face value that Jesus was the messiah. But we know today that no records of Jesus during his time alive exist. That the story of Jesus is the embellishment of a man who stories attributed to him have been taken from many pagan and competing ancient religions and enhanced. This Jesus people worship today is nothing more than a myth, a fictional character.

@Stumperx The Romans and the early Jews would have loved to stamp out Christianity because it was becoming quite a nuisance. One argument they did NOT even bother to try to use was that Jesus Christ had not existed. They couldn't. Too many contemporaries still alive at that time had seen him and His existence at least was a matter of public record back then. He had been crucified by the Roman court, etc.

If Christ had not been executed that would have been used as argument against Christianity in First Century by those who wanted to debunk it. It wasn't. Life wants to live forever so Science fulfills Faith & makes the Resurrection come true. New Jerusalem/Heaven mentioned in Rev. 21-22 is what it's building. Time circles due to proven General Relativity so it's already built.

@success2k That He physically existed must have been matter of public record & well known BACK THEN. Because early Romans & others did all they could to debunk Christianity. One argument they never used was that He never existed & hadn't been seen walking around Jerusalem & other places by plenty of people. Must have known that argument just wouldn't fly, not back then it wouldn't! Too many people had seen Him! So they used just about every other argument but never that one. That speaks volumes!

Rather, much of the Jesus myth that exists in the bible actually pre-dates jesus in the form of other myths and legends.

They would have if they could. That they didn't speaks volumes. But those records would have been lost with time right along with most or all other execution order records. We've not a single original one of them for anyone of that day including Caesar's political enemies, etc. Just know crucifixions happened.

The bible is the most misunderstood book I have ever had the pleasure to read. There are words used in the bible that are not translated correctly. But the one thing you need in order to read and understand the bible is the Holy Spirit. If you don't have that first, its just a book. Your heart cannot understand the meaning of what is written if you are trying to apply worldly logic to it.

In Genesis, it says God created the world in 6 days, however, when the Bible was translated from Hebrew to english, they messed up a lot of the words. "Days" was actually supposed to be "times" so He created the Earth in 6 "times" which could be anything; He could've created the earth in 6 seconds 6 million years. We may never know! God bless! :)

No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even chruches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. D) The suffering of the innocent. One could accept that the guilty must suffer, but children ???

People it's not about how many worship songs you listen to or how many good works you do to enter the Kindom of Heaven. The Bible says: "Repent yourself and be born again from water and Spirit and go walking in the Spirit." So be baptized by full emersion, pray for the Holy Ghost. If you are truely looking for God, you will receive His Holy Spirit and speak in tongues. From there the Holy Spirit will guide and learn you to become more and more as Jesus Christ.

Very good video, but the pictures move a little too fast for the song tempo.....but it's a great song, and great first attempt at the video! I love that song, too, btw =)

@MrPeacemaker1989 If i go to a christian church they will tell me that god is Yahwe, if i go to a muslim church they will say that Allah is god, if i go to a Hindu church they will say that Ganesha is god, if i go to a mormon church they will say that god is Elohim. . . . .How can you trust what a preacher tell you! He has no idea about anything especially the big questions of life. They are uneducated, most of them crude and child molesters.

It is not about what your opinion or mine is about this verses, it is what they say. You can't chose to believe anything else than the word of a god! Right? When Jesus said something i thing he meant it! If he said this awful things he must have been crazy, right? What is the other logic explanation?

@longulbogdan Jesus spoke in parables (which is a fact); a statement or comment that conveys a meaning indirectly by the use of comparison, analogy, or the like. So those verses aren't literal. I think u and i are both putting in our opinions and we are both letting our emotions get the both of us.

@AdorIslam Why did Jesus speak in parables? I'm not sure. I may never know why until i get to Heaven. I think (this is just what i think, i could be wrong) He spoke in parables to help us to better understand God's word. Because many things He taught us, we couldnt understand because we are human and we dont have the mental capacity to understand it. So if He spoke indirectly in parables, we could understand it a little better.

@longulbogdan Another fact is that he spoke in parables for the prophecies to fulfill and for the ones that didn't understand his parables would go to hell, for the sake of fulfilling the prophecies! This is criminal! I think that he was pretty literal when he said that you should pluck out your eye if that is what causes you to sin and when he said that :"I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you" (John 6:53) Ask a catholic!!!
