@Wampaa it's because real outlets for the arts have been monopolized. pop chart hits are written by writers in offices, and they have scouts looking for people to fit the certain demographic they're looking to fit. wikipedia any top 10 artists, most of their work comes out of thin air..theres no real respect for talent, and true ambission. the owners of media companies realize they can pay an artist 1 mil for a multi million dollar hit by releasing it as a single, etc etc.
