but in all fairness, I don't think it's fair to judge peeps when they're rehearsing at home. Actors need to rehearse and be free to be bad and find moments. If every actor had cameras on them through all their rehearsals... then everyone would have moments of suckitude. It's pretty brave to put yourself out there like that.

One does have to wonder, though, what was the criterion for getting on this show? It seems like they want beginners (aside from the musicians).

He had been practicing these lines that day, more than once. This might not have been his best run-through.

Also, it's some kind of exercise rather than a script he's working on for a role. It's also very horribly written, whoever wrote it, and kind of silly. "It's like the Statue of Liberty, and I'm in the foot..." -- I mean that's pretty silly, stupid stuff. It would be hard to deliver well by anyone. That's a little cruel of his acting coach!
