Its a Carvin guitar, I'm pretty sure. They are a semi-custom guitar company. Pretty much on the same quality and look lvl of PRS, but way cheaper, and you get to choose almost everything about the guitar. :D

Cool, but the elephant sounded nothing like an elephant. And you absolutely do not need a Floyd Rose to do that shit and stay in tune. Lock the strings properly on a Strat and you'll be straight.

@Andalite789 No it's a Carvin model guitar. The pick ups are stock model as well. Check out any Carvin catalog an you'll see dozen of these. Pretty solid guitars at an excellent price, but no one 'famous' really rocks a Carvin, but they're worth the money.

Floyd Roses aren't the only tremelo systems that work. The Ibanez Edge Pro works just as well and so does the Kahler except the Kahler and  Edge Pro are alot softer and smoother. That's why I like the Edge Pro more

I can do that with a Mexican Strat and pull it back in tune for a full song.

You really just have to know how to setup a strat, I like mine Jeff Beck Syle with a little higher action and the trem floating with about 75% down pull and 25% Upwards pull.

floyds have a locking system at the headstock

since you dont

when you go to use it

some of the coil wound in the tuning knobs release some and add tension causing some of the string to either come out or be taken away

most oftenly more string is added causing your guitar to down tune

Well I don't guess you have any experience with a Stratocaster then, I can do mindless diveboming throughout a song without loss of tuning.

At most minor adjustment is needed to the tuners after extended playing times.

Its all about the setup, even without locking tuners or a locking nut you can have great tuning stability if you take the time to learn how to professionally setup your own bridge.

if you have an licensed floyd rose than its actually normal that it doesent stay in tune.

i think the only floyd rose that can stay in tune for month or weeks is the orignial floyd rose by schaller (a german company)

buy this one and go to a guitarbuilder.

then you guitar will always stay in tune.

and if you have the original one and it doesnt stay in tune its broken^^

look at the top of this guys guitar..... a floyd rose is some kind of fucked up technology that moves the bridge and keeps the strings locked at the top to stop the strings going out of tune.....buy a new guitar or get one fitted

The whammy bar creates more or less tension on the strings depending on how you use it (push it down towards the body of the guitar or pull it up and away from the guitar) which cause the strings to change pitch. Hope that helped...
