  • Does this mean that each mold can only be used once? Is there a way to make several?

  • really cool Vince. Happy Bday!

  • @pdchr Hello and thanks for the comments! The ceramic shell molds, like the ones seen in this video, can only be used once. To make multiples you would make a flexible rubber mold of your original design and cast several wax copies. Then, make a ceramic shell mold over each wax. Unfortunately, its very labor intensive. Thanks for the birthday wishes!

    Cheers!

  • Good nights:

Well, i`m pretty interested in the modeling and sculpting arts, and i was wondering if maybe you `know a process to make xpanssions, i already `know a process to make miniatures of an original piece but want to `know to make the oppossite.

    Thanks!!

    BTW, Nice video and music!

  • @cirdrot Thanks for the comments! Sculptors used to use pantographs and calipers to enlarge sculptures. Nowadays, most are using computer scans to create rough foam enlargements. Then they cover it with clay and put the detail in.

    Cheers!

  • That was great. I always wanted to see the whole process of creating a Villafranca sculpture!

  • Hey Vince, the video is great. Glad to see more magic carpet !! Your friend did a great job shooting. And your stance at the end, it's very "Bob Dylan-ish."

  • Vince, you are truly bad to the bone!
