  • This version more poignant but it would be 100 times more atsmospheric if the fucking audience would shut the fuck up .. wankers like these have ruined all live gig recordings

  • I completely agree...her vocals are wonderful in this video but its the assinine audience that ruins it.

  • i imagine they were enjoying the moment, not thinking about how they might ruin the effect for youtube viewers . it's such an incredible performance, it's easy to ignore the audience!

  • exactly. Fucking drunks :)

  • @r00n41d0

    Well said

  • they are so in love

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I am sooo going to sleep to this

    tonight!

  • I would not be able to breathe if i experienced this in person. It is ultimately beautiful.

  • This song takes my breath away. If I was there seeing this I wouldn't be able to move, and I wouldn't shouting like a lot of the people in the audience. Shut up and listen. xo

  • Oh my god, what a performance.

  • mmmmmmmmh. ti sphezzo e mi thi mhangio.

  • So easy to watch on repeat...

  • they are so in love

  • v. sexy

  • theres nothing more that I enjoy than this video

  • man the hecklers are annoying

  • I knooooow...they were bad during the whole concert, but exceptionally bad during this song. As expected, I bet...even I had a hard time keeping quiet.

  • oh god its so beautiful

  • You're...kind of an idiot. "That look" you mean is her hair having bangs in the front, a lot of people have that. And as far as sounding like her, Feist's sound is different, not as depressingly melodramatic.

  • just my opinion..didnt know i'd be called an idiot for it..but ok

  • I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think she's ripping Cat Power off. Most of her music is too vibrant. Cat Power couldn't do 'mushaboom', for instance. Feist is a lot more vocal. I may be wrong, though.

  • Cat Power and Feist are totally different though. musically. Cat Power is better for rainy days when absolutely nothing is happening.

  • cat power has been performing since 1995, feist has been out since '91, so if anyone is copying the other, it's Cat Power. I don't think they're that similar though, I find I have to be in a really shitty mood to listen to cat power, when I listen to Feist though, her music seems to make me happy. she's so original and amazingly talented

  • @jeremy2389

Cat Power released her first album on 95 but she has been on tour since 90.

And same here, I don't think that Feist and Chan are similar. It's completely different.

  • Damn...I like Feist's and BSS's version, but this medley of both beats the shit out of all of them. If only there were a studio recording.

  • Actually there is a studio version of her singing this song on Broken Social Scenes B-Sides album called Beehives. It's really good.

  • Yeah, I knew that but the one I had downloaded was a completely different one with her on guitar and no piano, with a choir in the background. I always figured that was the Beehives version.

  • yeah the acoustic guitar one with feist singing is the beehives one.

i agree they should record this version. its awesome.

  • There is a version of this recorded. I've had it for a long time.

  • are you referring to the b-sides and remixes album "Bee Hives" by Broken Social Scene?

  • I wish the audience members would just shut up.

  • Ugh, so amazingly awesome. It's not even fair how beautiful that was.

  • They're definitely together. I trust the New York Times.

  • Uhh, yeah, Kevin Drew isn't gay.

  • You'd think he was, considering "I'm still your fag", but he isn't.

  • Andrew Whiteman is the only gay one in BSS

  • Umm Jason Colett? Thanks.

  • Idiot...Jason Colett's not gay. He's definitely married to a lovely woman who cottage on the same lake as me.

There's nothing wrong with homosexuality, just get your facts straight first.

  • Find the studio version of this arrangement on BSS' Beehives...

  • omg, i love this song. I like Feist's version much more than BSS's version.

  • this song was in lie with me, not the bbs version, the feist version

  • shoot, I was looking at this waiting for Kevin to come out and do a duo... I didn't realize until the end that he was playing the piano... And you have to know him, to see it's him...

  • Indie goddess alert.... great BSS song.... yep, that's me satisfied! Thanks for posting this excellent clip.

  • Dating? I doubt that.

  • was this a feist show or a bss show?

  • This was a Feist show. Kevin Drew and Feist are supposedly dating and he kind of went on tour with her.

  • !!!She has to adopt me!!!

  • I love this song!! you could hear it in the movie Half Nelson (amazing movie)

  • chillssssss. might be because my hair is wet though. I think a mixture of both.

  • wow, I went the first day (26th) and she did Major Label Debut w/ Brendan Canning. Amazing, but I wish was there for this one as well. prost.

  • Actually, that was Kevin Drew as well, Not Brendan Canning. I was there too, but unfortunately ran out of memory space so I didn't get it on film. :'(

  • Haha, she stood on the piano tonight @ the wiltern in los angeles.

    God, i love this girl.

  • OH MY GOD!

  • Yesss! One of my favorite BSS song :)
