my interpretation of the end of this episode is as follows, mr. god dude was using the computers in lains room to generate a body in the real world (very unstable) and lain who was still somehow connected to those computers used their physical influence to destroy said computers thus taking much of "God's" power and killing the body he was making...

Granted I don't agree with some of the more spiritual points of the show, but I don't disagree either. Hard to explain really.

Social Darwinism was a fake, unsupported belief in America during the early-mid 1900s, where natural selection was "applied" to society. it involved holding contests to award to most "normal" and therefore "fit" family.

It had no real relation to Charles Darwin or his research.
