  • wait...they drove to Japan from America?

  • James Iha at 1:08

  • I love it that whenever they present Americans, that all we ever use is the word fuck and we also have to swear every other word.

  • HAHAHAHAHA I was laughing my ass off when I heard the Japanese guy speaking English. He tried to act like a bad ass or a tuff guy.lol guess Japanese always try to present themselves as a strong nation while their just a bunch of weeklings in comparison to the Europeans.

  • @bisaf11 I was following you until you said Japan was weaker than Europe. I fucking lol'd. Though I suppose Hitler's allies would be worse than his appeasers?

  • 'fuck. fuck fuck fuck fuck'' is that how they imagine american? Well, as someone living in britain i can assure you its like that here too.

  • 'Pologize!

  • I dunno about u but MY FRIEND in NEwyork DIED!!!

  • You can't fukhereauund inmayeeighbuhud.

  • POLIGIZE.

  • Guest translated by Michael Bay.

  • You know, the accents are pretty good. It's the grammar that's a problem.

  • This was beautiful.

  • whaaattt rotfl whaatt lmao,,, was all i was doing during this video :D

  • the guy who knew what baka was

    he's secretly otaku

  • Yeah this is definitely how all Americans talk....

  • the guy with the black hair sounded like he was drunk...

  • THAT GUY WITH THE LONG BLACK HAIR SOUNDS LIKE HOW ERIC CARTMAN WOULD SOUND IN THE FUTURE. totally horrible!!

  • LET'S GET SOMEWHERE ELSE.

  • congratz in finding English speaking people who can give it the right mood. Usually I just hear Japanese people trying to talk English even if they should be Americans / Britains etc...

But seriously .... the sound of the gun .... was that a peas slingshot?

  • I laugh at the japanese guy's english. He tries to sound badass, but it only made laugh! LOL!

  • This scene was way better the sub, one of the few scenes that really can't be dubbed at all.

  • APOLOGIZE!!

  • 1:07 I didn't know tommy wiseau was in anime, "yu su poligize to des kheeds you motha fucka, oh hi mark"

  • @LavaSharkk

This broken English is TEARING ME APART.

  • has anyone seen bloodin blood out! good movie, this clip reminded me of it.

  • where can I find the real uncut episode. I heard the use the word 'Fuck' almost constantly in the english dub.

  • You know what? He sounds like, any minute now, he should go "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA".

  • The way the guy at 1:07 says "What the fuck!?" is funny as hell xD

  • This is good English on the Americans part, aside from a slight accent at some parts.

The JPN guy sounds good, for 2nd language standards.

  • Is this the original Japanese, or an English dub? If so, I'm impressed, not only that they have VAs that have understandable Engrish, but that they apparently actually took the time to find actual (or at least, seemingly) native English speakers...instead of resorting to the common anime stand-by of doing everything in stereotypically dialected Japanese.

  • Yah can'h fuck around in mah neighbahhuuh.

  • Wow, best Engrish ever.

  • I love the Japanese Westerner stereotype... Muscly, foul-mouthed rednecks.

We've sure got a great reputation for ourselves going, there.

  • @hatsthemax You have missed the point entirely. Its a violent anime, plus everyone has sterotypes for the japanese so its a sterotype.

  • @DarPower1 becks... not violent....

  • @kbaptiste28 i was referring to the clip. As for anime thats a different matter. You've....still...missed....the...point.

  • @hatsthemax Its not even a good anime to begin with so whats your point? People portray Japanese as creepy yellow shy weirdos...wow what a great reputation they have...sigh.

  • 1:10 "Apologize" I was laughing so hard at this point.

  • Best engrish I've heard in a while.

  • LMAO i love the black guys face at 1:11 XD

  • wow they actually got people who can speak good english o.o but uh i dont think that an american would know what baka means unless they try to learn japanese -.-

  • Is it me, or does the longhaired guy sound like Ichigo (english)?

  • Comment removed

  • who the hell are you??

    nice scene XD

  • Hmm... his english is actually pretty good not at all engrish..

  • he talks like he has a dick in his mouth

  • I'M KICK YOUR FUCKING ASS, MAN

  • I'm surprised the guy even knew what "baka" meant.

  • My friends use to own a house in Mexico, now get the fuck outa' my face.

  • beck episode 1

  • this is beck, right?

  • It's called second language, there is a very high chance that you will never get rid of the accent.

  • The Americans speak great English, and the Japanese speak engrish.. Makes sense since it isn't their native language.

But seriously, what is up with the NYC line?

  • Oh my god, I'm dying LOL

  • this episode made me laugh

  • Powadjice >:[

  • most of the comments I see on youtube sound more engrishy than this.

  • @MemShippou yeah thats because this is one of the best engrish (with best i mean the closest to english)

  • Thats about right. True americans. Aparagise!!!!!

  • Wow, that's the best Engrish I've heard yet.

  • I'd laugh if they didn't portray Americans as thugs. Eh, who am I kidding....LOL.

  • WOW, anime english dialogues that are not engrish. AMAZING!!!

  • PWNED @ 2:03

  • "pologize"

  • I'd laugh too if he said "Apologize" XD

  • ''WHOO.der hell ARE you?'' LMFAO

  • haha no wonder they laughed. He sounded drunk. :p still,

  • long haired dude sounds retarded

  • What's with the portrayal of Americans (or foreigners in general) in a Japanese media? O.o

Great english by the way for an anime show. I have only read the manga of Beck, but this seems promising!

  • 1:12**

  • 0:12*

  • 12 seems like he isn't even serious...lol

    He sounds like he's drunk.

  • They were pretty good actually. Except the long haired guy....>_>

  • he sounds retarded

  • Dang... what is this?

  • "what are you a rapper or singer, we are the world." .....................what? what? WHAT? WHAT ARE THEY EVEN BEGINNING TO TRY TO CONVEY

  • @TerrorismAdvocate Who knows?

  • @TerrorismAdvocate

They're poorly referencing the bs that rappers and singers crap out of their mouths when their songs convey messages portraying their beliefs that they can make a stupid-ass difference.

  • Pawgjuiz! >8U

  • 0:58

For some reason that guy sounds like Mitch Hedberg

  • Mean Guy:

    バカ?

That's one of my 5 Japanese words! You punk!!!

  • Finally some good ENGLISH at the very least

  • i think he like the word fuck^^

  • ryuske sounds indreeeeeedibly drunk

  • AHPAHLAGIIZZ!!

  • umm it's true bad words are the first words you learn in every new language ... :D so is hi, please, and thank you lol

  • Comment removed

  • RYUUSUKE YOU'RE ENGRISH IS LOL.

Can't wait for the live action movie. honhon... >u>

  • He sounds like the guy from perfect hair forever

  • what is this anime called ? it looks good

  • @sushirocks116 BECK Mongolian Chop Squad <3

  • Riiiight, because every American is a drunken jackass. See kids, the rest of the world stereotypes too! Don't let 'em say they don't.

  • @BlackIce3190 Nobody said they didn´t.... besides every country uses stereotypes.

For examlple, in american productions mexicans always live in small towns in the middle of the desert and wear those white outfits and big ass hats... while in anime mexicans are always like 3 meters tall and can lift 4 people at once...

  • @Lookin4aBoxToLive Alright, I admit I was a jackass there myself, and I appologise for it. Just venting my anger at something else here. Probably should've just kept my mouth shut.

  • @BlackIce3190 Really? You didn´t seem like a jackass at all! Or at least I didn´t think so...

  • This is the best application of the English language that I have ever heard in a Japanese dub of anything.

  • how is this anime called? °°

  • Engrish sounds like a drunk japanese person trying to speak english...it's so hilarious

  • Everyone knows those that grow up in America have a lisp...right guys? Right?

  • xD An american understood that "Baka" was an insult. I'm impressed in the 'hoodsters.

  • @WishesSetFree I don't think he knew that it was an insult. People tend to think that every shit said in a foreign language is an insult. Americans think that the most.

  • His English isn't even that bad, he just has a speech impediment.

  • that's actually the best damn engrish i've ever hear, i mean you can actually understand what he is saying!

  • Youth neez tu apalogith!

  • Apoligize! *moshes sideways*

  • POLLAGIZE!

  • It just seems as if he has the biggest lisp I've ever heard

  • LMAO

  • Man, the Japanese think we say "bastard" all the time.

  • Yooshooapolagaztodeki

    WHAT THE FUCK?!

  • Shut the..........fuck....................up

  • 0:51 How did he even know what baka means? O_O

  • @Esqaphor why would someone in Japan know what a Japanese word means? After all it's a well documented fact that non Asians can't talk moonspeak.

  • @Kukadin I meant the non-Japanese guy, the one who only spoke English. He got offended when the Japanese guy called him "baka", when normally a guy like that would just laugh, thinking he said random gibberish. Which makes me assume that he knew what baka meant.

  • @Esqaphor Its very clear he knew what it meant and you don't have to speak a language to know what one word in it means.

  • I like it when he says neighborhood.

  • @ToDontList

    Moar liek Nehbehoo, amrite?

  • whats this anime call?

  • @M3Bunny It says it in the description box. It's from Beck.

  • @torkblades well im blind to read -_- thx

  • ryusuke sounds more like officer barbrady from south park

  • Even the style for the Japanese and Americans is different in this show. The Americans are drawn in way that many Americans draw and the Japanese are drawn like regular anime characters.

  • i think hes drunk

  • "... but my friends in New York died"

wtf lol that was totally random

    also

    APOWOGISE

  • @ILGAR93 I think in Japan, correct me if I'm wrong, when someone is pleading for mercy to someone from a foreign country, they say "I have relatives in (or something similar to that) in ___". For example, if you're about to be hurt by someone from Sweden, you'd say "I have relatives in Stockholm!"

  • @Greystar589

thats one thing tho. that would be to scare him so that he would think he would be ganged up on in his home country. but saying that his friends in said place died? that doesnt make any sense and is not that threatening

  • @ILGAR93 It really isn't. I don't know why it's like that. That's just what I heard.

  • What anime is this?

  • What anime is this?

  • im sorry but the japanese ppl sound like deaf people when they talk....

i'm not trying to be mean, honestly, i'm not, but i can't get that out of my head when i hear this.

i'm sorry if i'm being mean.

  • @AMoonlitAngel

Lol,it's okay,I was thinking the exact same here.

  • @AMoonlitAngel its ok i feel like that too when american talk

  • This sounds American , alright .

  • He sounds like Cartman! XD

  • It serves us Americans right that we're portrayed as a bunch of swearing douchebags, with all of our terrible MTV shows and teen comedies.

  • @topraman519, I don't think it does. :P

  • APOLIGISHE

  • THE WHITE GUY UNDERSTOOD BAKA. OMG.

  • Oh god, Beck. Such a love/hate anime for me. If the Engrish weren't so bad (and the last episode wasn't such a slideshow, but hey) it would honest-to-god be my favorite anime. English dub is pretty good, though.

On a side note: APOLOGITHZE. Oh Ryuske <3

  • Yukkuri Shiteitte Ne

  • wow..those are the most intelligent criminals I've ever seen, they all seemed to understand what "baka" meant...

  • @animationeer ...it's not like baka is difficult japanese. along with konnichiwa, sayonara and kawaii, they're pretty well known words.

  • Oh come on, ytou guys are in japan, you should yell at mexicans in the US not japanese in japan. I guess the only word you know is baka(idiot, jerk, or basterd) The true fuckers are the mexicans in the US.

  • @UncleSam116 and plus you guys are the fuckers, not them! and I'm glad you guys died in the end. I would do the same to the mexican fuckers who are fucking up the US.

  • Ryuusuke actually sounded pretty decent hen he told those guys to fuck off

it's funny how the american guys have better english than any other character in the show

  • He sounds drunk..

  • this part is so fuckin hilarious geeezzz...it makes japanese ppl look so lame..but they're not.....

hahha but it reali is funni

i luv this anime.....suki dayo ryusuke kun no koto <3

  • 1:13

    'Pologize.

Something about the way he said that made me laugh...

  • he is hardass

  • aparagize

  • 0:52 well then i guess weaboos arent welcome in his parts

  • English is pretty good... compare to other animes

  • 1:11 my favourite part

  • The evil blonde American guy actually had good English. I mean, better. Than most.

  • this is how americans are drawn in anime. answer to all the fucktards who think anime looks american.

  • The way the American speaks reminds me a bit of Egoraptor lol

  • becks so awesome, but apologize came out as pologize, other than that he did great : D

  • Wow...that's the first anime where English sounds almost good :D

  • hmm I wonder who voiced those three guys lol

  • 1:54

You can't fuck aroun' 'n mah NAIBAHEWD.

  • The long haired guy sounds he just got back from dentist after a few too many shots of novacane (which I can't spell for the life of me )

Those thugs had such tasteful language! I mean shit, Americans don't fucking swear that damn much!! Damn ... nevermind.

  • @AnimeEyes143 Yea we do, BioTcH

  • @AnimeEyes143 It's strange how when some Japanese people speak English it's almost as if their tongue is too lazy to sound out the letters.

  • He sounds like the guy from the Paper prank call.

  • The long haired guy seemed drunk with the way he slurred his words, hard to say though.

Either, the VA's for the Americans have really clear and convincing accents or the producers actually got Americans to speak the lines. That's dedication there. =D
