Isn't the point that when one is winning based on sheer skill & experience that it carries an element of pride and self respect for said person. If you cheat then the high scores are attributed to the actual hack and have nothing to do with your skill or experience at all. This hurts the person hacking as they define themselves purely by the level of stats based on the cheat. At the end of the day you have: No self respect, No honour, and no pride.

change your MAC address Yes. but IP Address? if you're on a static IP net or on cable you might not be able to get a new IP. but I'll check it out. I know the IP changer won't work though because I have quite a few static IP's.
Isn't the IP address resolved to the MAC address? If the MAC changes the IP must change. If the IP is static then it will not change once it has resolved to the new MAC address. (That's what I would guess based on my understanding of IP addressing)
yeah or your ISP has assigned you a certain connection name, and that connection name is assigned 3 static ips, and you may change your MAC address as many times as you wish but your IP will always be 1 of those 3 IP addresses, at least this is how my ISP does their Static IP addresses
It's a shame that this guy had to cheat playing such a great game, i myself play the game and i would never cheat. What i read in the fraggin with friends website is a lil too dramatic and blown out of whack, I know myself if my buddy was in the same clan as i am for a while and got to know the guy pretty well and all of sudden he got caught cheatin...I wouldnt bash them out or degrade the person. it is after all ONLY a game!!! just my view on the topic, Frag on!

Isn't the IP address resolved to the MAC address? If the MAC changes the IP must change. If the IP is static then it will not change once it has resolved to the new MAC address. (That's what I would guess based on my understanding of IP addressing)
