con't- If gays truly want equality, they need to be willing to sacrifice for it. Forgive the necropost, but I had to speak on this one. The problem is there aren't enough prominent people who are closeted gays that are brave enough to come out. Since they keep it on the low, the only tactic is to make someone of prominence out to be gay.

They must feel that society will be more accepting of the gay lifestyle if someone we know and have respect for turns out to be gay. I just wish they wouldn't slander the dead. Encourage the living gays to expose themselves.

Marable died the Friday before the books' release the following Monday. Manning wrote an autobiography and failed to question family or friends who were still alive during the time of his "research".
