Maybe it looks like the bed is empty but there's actually a 13x19 aluminum base locked up with a small polymer plate. We were printing a small gold accent on some three-color posters.

I remember when I was an apprentice and was printing blotting paper on cylinder. The job was running so very well that I had the speed up to no. 15 - on the fast belt!. Perfect register on a perfect machine - absolutely brilliant.
