@w12surf My mom and her sisters went to Ramey, we went to her twenty year reunion about ten years ago... Susan Nichols, Paula Nichols, and Rachel Nichols. Did you go to school with any of them? We are going back to Puerto Rico in three weeks! :) So exciting!
@LoriBug22 On my gosh! Yes, I remember them, especially Paula as we were in chorus together. I was there when she got elected queen (I can send you a pic if you want). Too cool on going down there; I've been back three times, and "hopefully" will be able to go to the reunion we're having there next March. If I knew I could score a job on the Coast Guard Station I'd be on my way now!! Enjoy your time!
In 1975 there were four wall to the old light house...you know that it was a lighthouse that was taken out by a tidal wave that hit PR in 1929. I used to ride my horses down there and urf at Wilderness
Used to spend a lot of time here when I was a teenager on Ramey. Thanks for the memories.

It (it was called the Ponderosa) used to have a second floor and the first floor had a wall all the way around in 1973
Most folks don't know that it was a lighthouse that ws damage by the eqrthquake of 1918
