@TSWBW I would know, I have the exact same voice type and I was super tense hitting any note. The thing about this voice is it has a females upper extension (anatomically proven) but guys naturally sing rough. So you have to learn to sing really soft and access thin edge function to avoid vocal damage. And let's face it, this a God given gift, not something you learn. Chances of having this voice are one in millions.

You do not need low testosterone to sing like this. I started shaving when I was around 11 and this is my COMFORTABLE range (unlike Kellin, who needs to be trained). So I 'm calling bullshit on that.

I am a music major and vocal teacher i would know. testosterone is in fact a major factor in giving males a lower voice than that of females. If you asked Kilin to sing part's a bassist or a tenor would sing It would probably not be possible for him to hit low notes because it is not within his vocal range. BUT does vocal range make a good vocalist? NO
