Thanks for posting this. Hillarious alt ending! The actual ending is much sweeter, but this one is much funnier- and the kiss was much more passionate. They need to do a Proposal 2 stat.

@SonicKillMario I guess they never got that far. They probably eliminated this ending before making the credits. But I do think there was another part to this they never released, because on some blooper reel there was a scene of Margaret saying to the family in the parking lot something like "I don't know if we'll ever get married, but I will..."

@maxnryan they use green screens (or sometimes still blue screens) to change the green part to something else. It is commonly used for weather forecast broadcasts, wherein the presenter appears to be standing in front of a large map, but in the studio it is actually a large blue or green background

This seems just as unbeliveable as the other ending they did use. I mean 3 years, he hates her and then in 3 days, he loves her. I think it might of been interesting to see him end up with his high school sweetheart but the RULE in romantic comidies goes that if two people hate each other in the beginning, they will fall in love by the end of the movie.

Just finished watching the movie which I really really enjoyed. Now I can definitely see why they didn't put this ending in. The tone is completely off from the rest of the movie. That doesn't mean I liked the ending they used but it was much better than this one. The dvd I watched didn't have any special features. I must find one that does. There must be some other great deleted scenes and bloopers with Sandra and Ryan Reynolds.
