I clicked this video expecting the actual tail of a beaver being cooked...I am disappoint, especially since I just saw a video of legit cooking a beaver tail.
@tehripper6 Which I'd personally have no inherent problem with, the reason I found this video is because of THIS one, I guess they cook 'em down in Cajun Country.
Your recipe is pretty good, but seeing as I work there, before you let it rise you should cut it up in smaller disk forms that way it's easier to work with and they'd be the same shape, and as for shaping them, you should be stretching it and the middle shouldn't be thin since it doesn't make a fluffy beaver tail. Another tip I'd give is not to fork it because you want it to inflate a little bit. Before applying ANY topping butter is actually what makes it tastes so amazing. Oh and the original
@Fatimaeljamal93 Thanks for the thoughtful comment! Personally, I like my tails thin and crispy in the middle, and more fluffy on the outsides, but I'll definitely try your other suggestions out. Thanks :)

@TheBeerclaw Not cool man, the beaver is like, our national animal or something. That would be like roasting a Bald Eagle.
