@Moshpith More is not necessarily better - it might move things technically forward, but not necessarily creatively or aesthetically. Numbers of notes are irrelevant. The effect is all - and for me, this hits the spot. Sometimes, you have to go backwards to go forwards, too.

Everything that is played with 'attitude' and scooped mids on an overdrive channel isn't rock. If you don't understand that, you have no clue about music, of which rock is a sub-genre. Unless of course, you're more interested in attitude than music. In which case, my only tip would be not to display you lack of musicality in public.

univox superfuzz, seriously expensive, you can get the same sound from a black cat superfuzz / wattson superfuzz it's a really simple curcuit their accurate clones. Check out the behringer superfuzz it's outstanding seriously and it's only 20 quid.
