Duh -- wrong place to complain about this "old" game... i doubt you'll get any support from anybody for it. Unless you get lucky & find a recent distributor willing to fix your problems. ;)

Hey man, just download DOSBox and you should be fine. Or buy it from Steam. It'll work there, they've fixed it.

they blew me up with sonic weapons or something in my 1st mission. rude shock since i chose the beginner mode and thought i was a turnbased vet. made me download an FAQ and realised base management and knowing when to retreat was more important than killing them all. wished base management wasn't so complicated, so i can focus on the battles

@Virginityrocks Crappy? This was great CGI for the time. Damn, some movies (granted, not the big budget stuff) from the period with CGI had a lot worse effects. You have to compare the effects with what was common at the time, and for a game intro in 94/95, this was fantastic.

Sure he does - all XCom operatives dive along with at least Ion Armors that can sustain 25,000 meters depth!
