  • i only have 2x5870s :-( .....

  • equal to 6950 crossfire x

  • I have just on XFX HD 5870 and im good.

  • oh god what are the temps on that thing? you've got like 5mm clearance between those cards!

  • Nerd on drugs and a little high hahahaha MUsic and him talking about his rig..

    ANd then watching porn ...

  • TRI 5870..........TRI 5870.......

  • lol 1000W supply its not enought for triple crossfire

  • @MegaRami92

    looool 188*3 = 564W

Plus CPU and the other stuff it´s about 750W maximum, that´s all.

There is enough space for overclocking the CPU and all GPU´s !!!!!

  • Godly.

  • Life= Complete.

Next? wait for BF3 to come out and in the mean time do some bass tests on those Z-5500's of yours ;)

  • sick setup..wot is your setup now....

  • i've had an occasion to test 5870 in 3 way sli it is not worth the money

  • Why didn't you watercool them? Though your aircooling setup looks solid.

  • Do the cards get really hot/loud that close together?

  • can u send me the full specs of it in mail?

    and how u crossfire 2 cards... :)

    thx...

    nice job...

  • @PetrosLAN

very simple to crossfire 2 video cards mate. Just make sure you have the right power supply with the right connectors and a motherboard that supports crossfire (not nvidia sli). Just get the two cards and plug them in (must be from the same series, you cannot crossfire say a 5850 with a 5770, but i think you can crossfire a 5850 with a 5830). Plug the crossfire bridge in, install the drivers and they will enable crossfire for you. Hope this helped.

  • @PetrosLAN lol in the mail?hhahaahah wots wrong with his specs below his vid?hahahah in the mail...good one...

  • Yo man, nice PC. What heat sink is that?? Looks awesome!

  • @BeerGenocide

    Thermaltake Spinq

  • @YearZer02022

Thanks, you know if it's any good? It does look pretty awesome.

  • @BeerGenocide

Depends on your CPU, I currently use it for my i7 2600 it stays at 44-47C under gaming load (MMOs, Crysis, Bad Company 2 etc.).

For the price there are equal/better CPU coolers but I got mine on a discount, but the Thermaltake Spinq does not do well with overclocking.

  • @YearZer02022

Well I'm currently making a new build, which will have either a 2500k or 2600k. Not sure on which one to get, from what i've seen in benchmarks and forums, they appear to be very similar for gaming.

  • @BeerGenocide

They are pretty similar in performance, 2600 is lightly better for overclocking.

  • Nice PC do you plan to upgrade to the 6xxx series ?

  • kind of overkill, he is only using 1 monitor. 2x5870 will be plenty.

  • I now have 3 asus monitors in eyefinity

  • @flipminonost Q please what is the size of your new monitors and resolutions

  • 1000W power supply

  • What is your power supply? I wanna buy same computer kit but I don't know which power supply I have to select

  • Can i have it :D

  • LOL @ the way he says "TRI... 5870's". This dude must think that having a super computer is everything in life. LOL

  • Replace them with 6990 4gb ddr5's. See what FPS you manage in crysis.

  • you cant get 200 FPS at bad company 2 dude with that PC! only if you everythinfg turned on low!

  • @AeroFix94

Wow, you really need to get your facts right.

  • @JadleHF what is your PC specs then lol

  • @AeroFix94

My PC specs? AMD Phenom II x4 955 @ 4.2 GHz

    Crossfire HD 6850.

    4 GB DDR3 Kingston RAM.

I easily get around 150 - 160 FPS, and with Tri Crossfire when I was using my old PC before it died, I could easily get 200 - 215 FPS on maximum settings at a 1920x1080 resolution.

  • @JadleHF no way, maybe like 100 or 150 only!

  • ive got 2 5870s and was thinking about getting a third now that there down to around 200 bucks but will my 750w psu be big enough and do they even scale well enough to justify getting a third. i know the 11 series drivers helped big time but was wondering if the difference beween two and three cards justifies spending 200 dollars.

  • all that computer and 1 monitor? i'm lost

  • does it matter wat way the crossfire bridge connected

  • whats best 2 ati hd 5870 crossfire or 6950 2gb crossfire?

  • @misterhoobomaster

You will probably have better luck with the 5870 or the 5970. From what I have researched, the new 6xxx line is far less powerful than the 5800s and the 5970.

  • This or gtx 580 sli?

  • is TRI CF 5870 better than a gtx 580 sli?

  • @Zillamp3z no is the simple answer, if you have enough money to spend on a GTX580 SLI then please throw some my way xD my 5770 is good but does need upgrading :L

  • my comp just shut down of shame :(

  • What motherboard u use? that supports tri ati cards

  • ...you might as well add multiple screen to enhance your gameplay pleasure

  • what case is that

  • two words....... cable management

  • how much gpu memmory do you have in crossfire?

  • Voz engraçada.. Computador belo e perfeito, porém com fios desorganizados #fail

  • I tell you, the 5870 needs to drop in price to like 299.00 then ill buy another one, the way to go now is the new 6870 in crossfire, do you like 550.00 with taxs. thats a very good set up for the money.

  • $1,200 for 3 5870s a little overkill? :P

  • nice rig,but can you pwn?

  • @buckleheid LO

  • I'd like to go 2x or even 3x 5870 but there's no point at the moment (for me), I am running all games on max settings, max resolution (2650 x 1440) and only game which slows down to being unplayable is Crysis (but Warhead is fine).

  • can it cook a waffle?

  • CAN I HAZ!?!!!???!!

  • i have a single 5870 and also run on high everything maxed out with-out a blink or shudder, the heat those 3 cards are creating sitting so close is going to have a stability impact soe how? maybe?. i have a amd fx chip set so have one other spare pci-e x 16 slot, new home for a second 5870 later this year, bought a corsair TX power 750 w psu with that in mind, ROG MB...but to be honest, i just dont require the power or any over clock what so ever. but just to be fat...why not.

  • @TheReado01 10c increase, i think the 5870 can handle that....

  • @NYCityBoy718 im just saying, what do you run that requires more than 1 5870 4 gigs of ram and a qaud core? tell me a game that needs more. and next year when i do need more, ill buy a second card! simple, im not doing this crazy build new deal every year its a fucking waste of money.

  • @TheReado01 6 GB corsair dominator GTs @ 2000, core i7-930 @ 4.3 Ghz......so no, not no lame 4 gig ram and not no lame quad.

  • @NYCityBoy718 So yeah i see, some of us are just bound for the CHUMP TAX WAGON!!!!, so go ahead buy 3 of them, what a dick!. FAIL.

  • @TheReado01 wow, i can smell the jealousy from here! PU! stinks!

  • @NYCityBoy718 i can smell the credit-card company beating your door down as well ha ha ha

  • @TheReado01 hahaha lmfao , 10/10 comeback

  • Nothing wrong with your pc, but I think you should overclock your hands, cause they are shaking while recording.....

  • @Ortegala They're shaking from the airflow of that case lol

  • @Ortegala lol mad my day

  • @julianbusty One year later....now that's underclocking

  • I have 2 (ATI HD5780) on a Gigabite motherboard 6G RAM @1666 BUS i7 920 and I love it.. as for you sir, I salute you! well done and keep going forward.

  • i dont know if i should get 3 of these or 3 gtx 475's when they comeout or just stay with my 3 way sli gtx 280's

  • and then OMFG SO MUCH RAM

  • holy shit! 3 5870's u crazy mofo! y only one screen if u can have over 9?

  • what about the samsung monitor ..! is it 120hz @least or 240hz ?

because with the 3 monsters (5870s) you will have big unnormal FPS to show !

& on fast scenes you need a fast monitor like 240-480 hz to play on it . or turn the v sync on (witch I hate)

    Good job BTW :)

  • MAN! that is a one F^#&'n Beast!!

  • EPIC VOICE OVER!

  • oooooooooo

  • wow, that´s an awesome setup. Three 5870s in crossfire is the system setup I dream about right now.....

    Many greetings

    FuenfamTag

  • i got 2 words for you. WOWZERS BOWZERS!

  • Is 1000w enough for those beasts. Because im gonna build a crossfirex system.

  • Nice rig but I'm sure you can spend a little more money on a better cooler than that thermaltake on your cpu.

  • Thanks I updated my rig I'll post a new movie when it's done. I have put in sleeved cables and I have a cooling system on it's way. Ordered parts from a few different sites.

I play Bad Company 2 on high settings and maintain just about a 200fps.

The stuttering you see it Heaven doing it's benchmark test and reports the test to itself...kinda something like that.

I will be modding my case and will post a new movie when I added my water cooling and stuff

  • @flipminonost Now you just need to get yourself 2 more monitors :D

  • @flipminonost im gunna call bullshit. I have 2 x 5970's in CF @ 900/2010 with a 4ghz i7 920 and yeah, i can hit 200 fps maxed out at 1080p, but u dont MAINTAIN it.... over exaggerating is fucking rampant in these videos

  • Too bad there is stuttering... ( still not AS bad as Quad Fire... )

  • 6 GB of graphics memory, shit man, that is more than my ram

  • That's some serious shit right there!! =D EPIC^^
