Great Review! I love the real ape look of Grodd, but being a fan of The Legion of Doom, I wish they had made him showing teeth...maybe looking like he's talking.

this is hard to believe but, at my action figure store here in phoenix az , i found imperiex for 15 dollars and brimstone for 10 and this one gorrila grodd for 10, altough i skipped this one but now i think i should get it , wwhat do you think ?

Cool gorilla pose, but it's something that doesn't seem in keeping with the character =x The biggest thing I disliked about Grodd was the very limited articulation (can't get the arms where I'd like plus the legs make him hard to pose... without toppling over at times). It's a real shame that they didn't have a cartoonier version in the PE wave, especially since he played a much larger role than either Icicle or debatably even Silver Banshee (however, Lex should've been the biggest no-brainer)

I liked the sculpt of Manta, it was great, I put him in the list of the figures I was disappointed with though because while it was a nice figure, the paint much like Harley Quin could have been alittle more vibrant and not as faded as it was. Black Manta made my list of favourite and disappointing figures for that reason if that's even possible

Grodd overall seems kind of a half done figure... I mean the plastic on the arms are fine, but the legs (no thigh cut) and torso (no crunch) seem cheap. I mean you can thump on it and hear how hollow it is.. and just feels egh. so looks cool for what you get but yeah... they really should have re-thought this one. Great review with ya 100%

It's very unlikely but I'd love for them to take a second stab at this figure kinda like what they've done with the DC Superheroes Darkseid, this figure could have been so much better, even though in the video I said I liked the grey, I think a black Gorilla grodd would have been nice with loads of articulation in the arms and legs and of course alot nicer head

You're right, the face should be more stylized. That would've made the figure much more entertaining. Now he's kinda boring to look at.

That monkey stance looks good though. If only you could move his head up.

So yeah, this BAF is flawed. But the wave 2 itself is great!

Wave 3 looks extremely promising so I'm definitely looking forward to your videos! Green Lantern, Robin, Deathstroke, Grundy...I'm excited!

I picked the wave 3 up when it just came out so I picked them up for the retail price, the downside to getting these kind of figures later is that they tend to have the inflated prices by then

Hmmmm . . . I gotta say I don't think this BAF is really so cool.  Without the helmet and tubes he looks like one of those $3 hollow animal toys.

lol dude I was actually going to comment on that in the video that this Grodd reminded me of the plastic PVC animals you find at either the dollar stores or the educational toy stores, not sure why I left that out in the video
