First able I'm a great follower of DeGraw's music n all I have to say is that This is one of the most meaningful songs I ever heard, what he was saying here was asking God for his strength so he could still sharing his passion which is the positive message through music without contaminating himself with the fake and short pleasures of the world. Nuhh this vid isn't THAT hard to understand.

What he's trying to say through this vid is that sure, the fame is nice. But he doesn't want to be one of those hogs.

And also he doesn't want to play for a fake audience (get it ?) that only likes him for his fame, looks, money, etc.

This is to show that he's only in it to do something he loves to so and to connect to people with it. And those people who connect is his real audience. Which if course, is us.
