I really don't know the difference between gypsy's and Irish travelers. They seem similar to me. Don't they both mostly travel around in wagons, or trailers, instead of living in homes?

@wankoin, yes I did wonder about what they were like here in the US. I lived in MI and now TN, and can't say I've ever saw people like that. I actually never heard of travelers until my daughter and I watched the show. It's like a train wreck, you don't want to see it, but you can't turn away

@foltamo, yes I do feel MTV is a huge problem, like much of what's on TV, BUT I believe it ultimately falls on the parents. As the mother of 3 children, now young adults in their 20's, my children weren't allowed to watch MTV. I closely monitored what they watched when they were young

Im a traveler im only 14 but wen i was there age i didnt dress like that nor dance like that..... And wen i have my own daughter if i catch her dancing like that Ill break her two legs....No there not little hores those girls will grow up to be decent girls and probably great wives...but there ony about 8 or 9...make there shorts slightly longer and ther tops aswell...love the heels though get them started young...lol

This is totally inappropriate to the Romano nation and we do not participate in such actions.If People are trying to entangle the "Rom" with these people they are totally without Knowledge about the Rom,the so called gypsy here in the US and/or aboard.These people do not speak in the Romany language therefor they are not Rom.There is a distinction between gypsies and Rom or Roma, Rom have there own language.and i agree someone teaching there children to dance like so is demented.
