you know there were so many faults in Spider-Man 3 but the one thing that no one ever points out is how Peter takes off the symbiot in the movie as if its the cloth version of it. I mean the very first scene with the black costume, peter takes off the symbiot like a mask and says "This is something else" rather than the symbiot detaching itself from pete's face like it SHOULD!! Oh well, nice collection! I too collect Spidey comics. Are you planning to go to C2E2 this year?

@Josecrash3000 ya when spidey first got the sybiote and he could control the suite , but i do understand they were playing more with the ideas from web of spider-man 1, where the symbiote digused itself as a spidey suit in an attempt to rebond with peter. c2e2 i way out of my budget attend but however there is a show in calgary in a few months wich i may attend

they copied how spiderman fought off the symbiote in spiderman 3 movie from the spiderman animated series from the mid 1990s. its exactly the same shot by shot

Actually the Amazing Spiderman issue was were the

(symbiot) <spelling? costume first appeared, not Sec wars #8. Of course the chronology is correct as far as the storyline goes, but as for when the new costume actually appeared on the racks, Amazing Spiderman was first. If there is any debate about this just check the dates. When I was 13 yrs old I remember waiting for Sec wars to show this origin quite a few months after Spidey was already toting the new black threads.

@TheXmen14 well go with the amazing spider-man title. its great i think. especially with the new "big time" story coming. stay away from web of spider-man, its awful.

also try avengers or new avengers. spidey is on both teams. ive been collecting since the archie tmnt series, so early 90's id say

@steve19721232010 all depends on the cover and signifigance of the story that would impact the universe of that character. but yes i think lots will gain value.

did people really think any comics would be worth anything in the 60's? but now there are signifigant books from that era that are worth so so much. or say the action comics that sold for a million dollars !!

@CWCkgs7 well im not sure if its more rare, but i believe its worth more and more sought after, carnage is killer (lol) but i think most fans prefer to have the first appearance of the symbiote

thanks for watching. i bought them from wizarduniversedotcom. you can buy a 5 pack for 25 bucks i think it was. or millcasedotcom for bulk orders. they are expensive in the long run and are hard to get but very good cases i reccommend them absolutely. save them for your important books.

keep checking ebay, eventualy you can get a copy in your price range. i just looked at an auction for asm 252 for $32 wich is below the market value. also looking for a copy not graded by cgc or pgx and from a original owner and not from a store may get you a better price
