If memory serves the max US allows is 5mW, Wicked Lasers boasts that their smart switch and safety features can circumvent this system but I still don't think it's a guarantee customs will let it through.

Wicked lasers do say on their site however that if customs does confiscate it, they will either re-send it or refund you, mine was never confiscated though so I wouldn't know.

Mine was the same way. I had to pull out the safety tighten the screws on the other contact switch. Then put the safety pin back in. And it worked fine. My G1 out puts at tad over 1w. I got lucky with that one... My new one with smart switch only out puts on high at 750mw ..

Like,you can get 1W lasers for a cheaper price(cheaper meaning about U$60),but some of them heat too quickly,and some require you to build it yourself,they only send the parts.

DOA means "Dead On Arrival", in the video it is broken.

I have since received a replacement that works perfectly but I am not selling it sorry.

I stated that I have the G1. The G1 does NOT have a smartswitch, only the Tailcap switch.

Well I'm in Perth WA and I received it, twice in fact.

The package was even marked as portable laser both times and I still got it.

If you don't, they will refund you or re send it.

However, I would not buy it.

It took far too long to get it in the first place, and then a good 4 months to get a replacement when it was DOA.

Buy a Dragon lasers Spartan 1W Blue Laser instead, better company.

I think I know whats wrong .. the battery seems to go in too far. maybe the spring on the inside is missing.. look at kipkays video on this laser and fast foward to the part where he puts the battery in the laser.... looks like a difference to me

Nah, still haven't.

Even If I use some High Gauge wire and bridge the battery to the casing directly it still won't work.

Either the driver is dead or the diode is dead.

But the diode won't even LED on me. (I've had diodes die before and they at least do that)

Too busy with life for fingernail cleansing, I don't have the convenience of riding around in elevators all day. XD

I received 1 email about an RMA but after no follow up no WAY am I sending it back, I'll never see it again.
