@VESANG I am comparing the sound to classics Fender Malmsteen signature, some s series Ibanez with dimarzios on them, fender deluxe humbuckers ....that kind of thing.
Listening to the overdrive and distortion sound of this one it sounds really harsh...the synth is fine
Can you provide a list of IMG2010 compatible Guitar Synthesizers? I've been surfing the net and the range is staggering. Most of the products make no mention of whether the synthesizer takes the 24 pin cable.
If you want to use the synthesizer functions of the IMG2010, you have to use a vintage, 24-pin synth: Roland GR-100, GR-300, GR-700, GM-70 or Korg Z3. I make a converter, the BX-13-VX,. which converts the 24 pin to 13 pin format. With the BX-13-VX, you can use any modern, 13-pin synth, like the Roland GR-55, or VG-99.
is there a cheaper way to get that crisp clean sound at 1:25 to 1:33 ?

VG-99 or GR-55 will make this sound

@WayneJoness is there a simpler way to get it? thats the only sound i want

You could try the VG-88, but if you want that specific sound, you need to get a VG-99, that is factory VG-99 sound.

Hi Wayne,
Will a Boss GT-6 work with an IMG2010?
Regards
Pat

The GT-6 will work with any guitar, so it will work with the IMG2010. But using the GT-6 does not add any special MIDI features, etc.

This is very cool. When you are connected to the synth patches, are you able to pick very fast on the low E string?
