@Ahkoto If you don't care for Megaplex there's always FWA. I haven't been to either myself, but some friends tell me FWA is good and it's not too terribly far from Florida.

FC itself is always in San Jose, though there are plenty of other cons around. Head over to wikipedia and look up "list of furry conventions". Doesn't look like there's much in Canada these days, though there are cons in the bordering states.

@saintjohners Just to answer your question, there's are a couple furry events in Canada. First off there's Camp Feral in Ontario. There's also a furry convention in toronto called Furnal Equinox that I personally have attended. Try looking them up on Google.

The summer picnic is held at Lake Chabot in Castro Valley. The actual con is in January in San Jose. Both are in the San Francisco Bay Area.
