Had his right hand upon his Throne Chair- which had Expensive Jewels embedded into it & 6 ornamental, wooden Spirals rising to the top. Can be considered as evidence to show that this GOD figure doesn't exists. After all, its like disputing bigfoot, just say if you got evidence and they will start talking about feelings and dreams. Then when they are cured from an illness, instead of thanking the doctors and modern medicine, they will think GOD has something to do with it.
"Jesus is Coming" was around since 1930's ..BUT its 2010, learn from your mistakes

@davelantor It doesn't promote it at all, thats just how life was back then. Similar to slavery 100 years ago. Humans did that, God wouldn't of liked it. No where in the ten commandments does it promote anything like that. Don't get confused with Gods law and peoples law.

@davelantor Btw, I don't know where you got your info from on that last bit but if they actually read the bible, they would see that there is HEAPS of proof, eg. it states the earth was round and that it was suspended in space (noone knew this back then). More than 300 prophecies have been fullfilled, no other book ancient or modern even comes close. 66 books written by approx 40 ppl over 2000 years yet its still one book with perfect unity & consistency. Theres more... =)

@Pulsed101 everybody can cherry pick from a book. For example, nobody bothered to bring out this "it states the earth was round and that it was suspended in space" while Galileo was around. But when it was actually discovered that the earth is round, Sure, christian apologists are back to work trying to find a sentence in the book that they can interpreted as the current view of world. And just so you know, earth is not "CIRCLE" which you changed as round. it is a sphere, and not a perfect one.

@the1qb to answer this question, think about all the absurd stories of the bible. such as the ones about talking snakes and talking bushes. but not just that. the story that Jewish/Israelite slaves built the Egyptian pyramids has been proven to be a lie. records show that Israelites/Jews did not even come to Egypt until 700 years AFTER the pyramids were built. if the bible can lie about all of those things, why would any rational person believe that a man actually raised himself from the dead?
