Paris is wonderful I was there oct 30th & 31st I have many great pictures and soon will post a video.France is a magical country ! Both trips there are the best memories.

I've been waiting my whole life to go to Paris. Now, I have the chance to go next year, and am beside myself with excitement. The one thing folks are telling me is....beware of the French people! I don't know how "they" know this, since most of them have never been out of the U.S., but I've been warned that they are snotty, cold as ice, condescending and very UNfriendly! My parents went there a number of times; had no complaints. So, on that note....Vive La France!
@jekorb Not true, we have some kind of different humor and are a little arrogant I gotta admit it but that makes us special, we do not try to be like anyone else in the world, we like to keep our own things to ourselves :P
Many of us can't speak english well but it's just because we don't need or want to learn it at all. English is just a poorly spoken version of french (/gives history books).

@KDZX4 You lost me on your second paragraph~~~it's that attitude about which people complain! Didn't these languages descend from Latin/Greek in the first place? So, just because most of us can't prattle away in French is no reason to put English down. I would not attempt to speak French without knowing it well....so you're going to snub me because of that? @Agnostyx13 From what I have heard from friends who have visited France, French women who work in shops or restaurants are not happy to have to be working......French women prefer to do other things than have to work outside the home.....at least, this is what I have heard and read. Your English is fine! At least, you make the attempt at it. I studied French language for 2 years in high school...and remember almost nothing! I am very sorry.
I lived near to Paris for sixteen years. A fantastic City its like a beautiful women she has her dark sides and secrets, but when she turns on the charm she is a Goddess of love. She can enchant you with the flash of an eye but turn you despair in an instant as she pleases.
It is a fabulous city to live in or near, I have no complaints about the Parisiennes they almost always treated me well. Oneday I hope to return to the "city of light "

I only visited Paris once. But I got got lost and spent hours wandering around the area covered by this video. I didn't really worry. I knew I was only a taxi away from the hotel. So I wandered and loved every minute.

Conozco Paris me encanto,sus edifcios,el Palacio de Versalles, todo me encanto y quede facinada, pero,,,, el parisino es muy antipatico, lo siento pero es una opinon generalizada, son muy orgullosos, pero Paris es hermoso.

translation- I think Paris is a nice city, but it isn't as diverse as Chicago. You people have no large buildings or towers! I love Paris but I like Chicago better they have the tallest buildings ive seen, they're bigger then Hong Kong and the buildings of nyc! My favorite city is Chicago, and Paris is my second!

I like tall buildings and that isnt the only reason why! I like looking up lol=D architecture,diversity,the cities density, and many more reasons! I still have my schengen visa and my passport so I could travel all over europe! Most people who hate on my comment was because they can't leave where they live and they never visited any of these cities! they have never been to any city outside of theirs! they never travel!!! =)

Je crois que Paris est une ville agréable, mais ce n'est pas aussi divers que l'Amérique à Chicago. Vous les gens n'avez aucun grand bâtiment ou tours! J'aime Paris mais j'aime Chicago mieux ils ont les plus grands bâtiments ive vu, ils sont plus grands alors Hong-Kong et les bâtiments de nyc! Ma ville préférée est Chicago et Paris est ma seconde! désolé mon français n'est pas que bon!

I only visited Paris once. But I got got lost and spent hours wandering around the area covered by this video. I didn't really worry. I knew I was only a taxi away from the hotel. So I wandered and loved every minute.
