Originally battle horses, but later on used for coaches and working on the northern Dutch farms until the age of the tractor. These typical workhorses are kept for recreational purposes now and there is an unfortunate tenendy with breeders to make them more 'slender' than they actually have to be.

Real Frisians need to be stocky and muscular, with a broad breast and a short neck.

It looks like a real friesian, well it moves like it, I think the Brown spot is becuz they left the sweat on the horse after riding, and then putted them in a land :')

@rachelwilliams09 i have a friesian and i dont really think they should be first horses (sorry no offense) because they are so good and can be very strong, i think they should be reserved for the better more experienced riders (but i dont know how good you are thats just my first opinion!) :)

i got a friesan ... when you don't know them it's hard to ride them ... but in their moves they're soft ... when you know how to ride such a hourse it's an amazing feeling ....

nah... its almost definitely an Arab. The back is too short, the neck is set too high, the body isn't heavy enough and the muzzle is too fine to be a Friesian.

what would the world be without some beauty to watch. The world needs more beauty, and by golly, you see what gift we were given by god? Friesians are wonderful animals. They are no less than any other horse though. That is what some people can't understand. Slaughter is horrible too, do you see any Friesians going there? Yes, Friesians are the most beautiful breed of horse I have ever seen but you know what? They are no less than any other horse out there.
