Well switching off your lights for an hour is to test the unity of a country...so it can do bigger things not just switching off lights...something bigger......
Saving electricity for 1 hour wasn't the point. Having a global initative to take action was, and if everyone could adopt ways to help the environment, then nations would help solve global warming,
Hey! Include other major cities too! Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila... Why aren't they in this purportedly "Oceania and Asia Compile"?
Hey! In the winter my thermostat is usually between 60-63 F and in the summer it's set between 76-80. I usually keep only 1 or 2 lights on at a time. I conserve because I can. However, tonight, I kicked the heat up to 69 and have turned my lights on all over the house to shed light on the global warming hoax. At 9:30, I will return to my regular conservative lifestyle. The lights will go off, and the thermostat will once again drop to 60 F. Good night.
We should all turn off our government controlled tv's for a month and see what happens. That would save a ton of electricity and we can start thinking for ourselves again and stop being sheeple with this lie of global warming.

This stuff is such crap that the global warming screamers can't even call it global warming because this has been one of the coldest years on record and the wwf says the poor polar bears are in danger cause they can't swim but that is a falsehood as well as they daily do swims of 150 miles to eat. And to call a life giving gas(carbon dioxide) a threat to our existence is laughable considering that it had been much higher in years before the industrial age. It's called cyclic activity...duh!
I'm from Croatia, and we had it 2 hours ago. We had a small unplugged concert in front of the national theatre and it was the best way to spend the evening :) what a spectacular event!
we all sat with candles burning, an played a game one person says a word then the next person has to say a word that goes after the last one!!! sounds a bit boring but it worked for us xx
