Hey has anyone notice the fact the plane landed ok, but did you see the angle of the plane. the front bent slightly making it look like it was going to snap.. it was freaky, but then as it goes straight it levels:) thankfully.

Man! Just by looking at the mountains, I knew it was Tegucigalpa Airport. Landing in there it is pretty scary, I remember final approach 10ft over some powerlines. Is not a Joke!! They are going to close it and move it over Soto Cano, AFB, J-TFB. Nice video!!

Also, that runway is NOT very short....7,100' with only a small displaced threshold....the angle in the video makes it look short....kinda like ALL runways tend to look for the pilots when we land :)

This approach isn't THAT bad....I fly in there about once a month in a learjet. The hard part of the approach: you need to be fully configured waaaaay before you cross the VOR...kinda like flying into Aspen. This is also a high-altitude airport so the air is thinner (layman's terms) and it's harder to slow down.... you really don't want to be late configuring for landing.

Finally......this pilot had zero, zilch crosswind correction during the flare and touchdown. That was painful to watch.
