couldn't find any other contact resources, so ill just try to get an answer from here. okay the mnfservers thing asked for security prompt and it asks me to manually change hosts folder. researched and found that all i had to do was run the mnfserver program as admin. i did and was brought to the page, but when i click on the thumbnail i recieve the error that said something about an error, but now it asks for authenticated password to access the games. WTF??? please help.....

Murray was only in the beginning chapter. They released the demo and people LOVED the Murray character, so they decided to include him more in the game.

Dialog is worse, too many nods to the old games that just seem desperate attempts to be funny but just fail, 90% of the characters on the first episode are the same model with different faces and the puzzles just feel like errands with no solving required of you whatsoever.

Monkey island HAS to be 2D !!! Monkey island 4 was ... well i bought it anyway cuz it was MI - but in fact it wasnt as funny as it was supposed to be.

I just hope a next part will be in 2D again.

I mean; just look @ the next PoP - they use cartoon graphix 2!

Monkey 4 wasn't that bad in the graphics department, it was the controls that made it annoying to play. For me anyway. MI3 had the best graphics and easiest controls and layout.

That said, MI4 was certainly the weakest of the series though. I think the Monkey Kombat replacing insult swordfighting had a lot to do with it as well.

The Ventroloquism book, you find it in the theater to "throw your voice" at things. You can use it with a lot of things to have Guybrush 'make them say things'. :)

i've finished every single episode of Monkey Island and everyone agrees that the 4th one is the worst, graphics and story wise, but graphics gets most of the blame, 3d never works for adventure games except for Grim Fandango and the new sam n max episodes but still if the new sam n max episodes were 2d cartoon they would have been a lot better and appealing to people
