i loveee this scene. mark was always my favorite charatcer. when he died i cried so hard. my name is katy and it makes this scene all the more special to me. i remeber seeing this and tearing up and when he says "thank you katy, you just became my very last patient" i started balling and it felt so real and special.
My god the writing here.. Dr. Green will forever be an ideal in my mind of how someone can achieve excellence at what they do through simple humility, compassion and work ethic.
The scorpion can never get Orion. He is safe in the sky.
It was so sad to see him go. :/ I was only 8years old but I still remember watching the episode where he died. My mom had been watching ER since it first came on and she was crying.
Oh dear. These clips make me want to cry. I can remember watching the first eppy of ER way back when and I fell in love with Mark Greene. He was undoubtedly the best character, even to this day he has been hard to replace. The episode in which he died still makes me cry so much.Such a sweet guy.
this episode along wiht the next scene when greens is clearing the board for carter is so said and them him walking out "you set the tone carter" amazing episode one of my favorites
i loved it when mark was seeing that old lady at the beginning and she was all destressed bacause she had a hangnail, and mark said "well i have a brain tumor that's untreatable". the lady was like what did you just say, and mark said "I Win". it was just hillarous. i was hopeing they'd show it on here but they didn't GRRR.
The old lady was one of Mark's first patients in Episode 1 Season 1; and the conversation he had with Carter was almost exactly the same as the one he had with him in Episode 1...right down from 'it's stopped raining' to 'you set the tone'
It's amazing tho.
Mark Greene was the least cool and most unassuming character on the show, and he's the one everyone missed most.
I always like that part. It showed his overall wit. The part with the little girl however always got to me....everything from there was just sad. You knew what would be happening next but never really wanted to see the end.
waw!!!big moment of ER!!!it made me cry!

This was such a sad episode, because you can hear the Tumor affecting his speech.
