Kellie is doing an outdoor concert in our town in May and Jaycie opened it last year with the national anthem and the organizers asked her to do a whole set this year. Just things around town and word of mouth is how she gets most opportunities.

a couple of years ago she won a karaoke contest sponsored by a local radio station in town and they have had her open several things with the national anthem and that put us in touch with the organizers of several other events, so basically word of mouth and a karaoke contest! She beat out about 20 adults with that win and its opened up many doors

We never heard anything, so I don't guess so. But it's just as well, because she's just signed to open for Kellie Pickler and Jason Aldean on May 4th, and for Buddy Jewel on May 15th and 16th. She probably wouldn't be able to do that if she had made it.

for my audition for americas got talent.....(its next sunday april 6th) they said that they would either tell you there if you move on or they would call you in the next day or 2 because the audition will be in the next 3-4 days of my audition date....so she still has a chance because they have to go back to each city again and if the city she tried out at was one of the first then it will be one of the last. So she could still have made it.
