Is there a rule of thumb for your height to your board height (ex: ride 2 inches shorter than your height) and what is the width and thickness of the board you are rinding... And might i say that you are a very good surfer keep up the good work.

I just bought a 5'11 fish. Im trying to transition from the long board to a fish but the pop up doesnt fell right. Any tips?

@conben2 persevere, a fish will be much more twitchy than the longboard your used to riding, the more you practice the easier the pop up will be
