if you want it to be a realistic zombie mod then they are sapossed to be fast and sprinting ,undead cant happen its impossible the only way it can happen is a mutated strain of rabies (and there is one btw) the infected are still living people just cannibalistic killing machines that dont eat other infected because of a hormone that acts as a mild repelent
