Hey there, nice playing, I used to have a Brian Moore and am considering getting another one, is that model a set neck? I must say I dont particularly like their website as its not very informative.
@Ashadowtotheworld - thanx for listening and for the comment, my friend, yes, this model has a set neck and it is a very nice one - in fact the guitar has the best sustain of all my guitars (including 4 les pauls and prs)
@Vlaqq Ah Excellent! Thanks for the reply, sounds good! Can you please tell me what the model is? And where how much you got it from? (Are you in the states?) I am travelling to the US and am on the hunt for an awesome guitar. :D
Also is that one of their American guitars or one of the Made in China ones?
@Ashadowtotheworld -sure, this is i2P (piezzo) but it has no midi input - just a regular input jack - the guitar comes with a y (split cable) so you plug one end into the guitar and the other two ends go into two channels if you want to use both electric and piezzo pickups at the same time (there is a special knob for piezzo volume) also you can switch from a humbucker to a single coil - this model is made in korea so it is about 800 used, american models go for 1300-1500
@Ashadowtotheworld - same thing with the name but if you want to 'invest' in the instrument, then it is better to buy an american since you can sell it for a good price - well, at the same time, playability is very unique and you need to try it out - i fell in love with my guitar after three seconds and bought it with no thinking who made it - really it felt so comfi and pleasant
@Vlaqq -yes, i live in california - chinese brian moore a bit worse quality compare to korean ones and go here for 500US in fact, you can get a les paul (gibson not epiphone) for 600 US (studio) - well, i'm sure you can get a good guitar here - let me know if you need any help (just in case you never know) please, don't hesitate
@Vlaqq Wow. I am actually visiting California for the first time in April :D... hoping to see all the guitars there. Yea, its all very difficult to tell whats what with the Brian Moore website, apparently they dont even make that model anymore unless it is "to order" and the website is really uninformative... So unless I can find a second hand one then my chances of being able to afford an American one are slim. And yea I figured if I am travelling to the US then I WANT to buy an American guitar
@Ashadowtotheworld - very cool!!! i live in carmel valley near monterey (20 minutes drive) and it is about 120 miles from san francisco - if you have time and wish, please, stop by (better to get in touch by email vmylnikov@yahoo.com) and i can give you some ideas where to find a good instrument (i know the places around quite well)
@Vlaqq Oh wow, that is very nice of you. Must be the southern hospitality I was taught about in American history classes :)
I should mention however I will be in LA and only there for 3 days, so not sure if I'll make that far up as nice as that offer is. And by then I would have travelled through 4 countries and 4 other American cities so who knows what state I will be in :D
@Ashadowtotheworld But if you can recommend something in LA (or in Boston, Chicago and Ney York by any chance for that matter) then I would be happy to hear it. Or even if you run into something you think I absolutely should see around your area, please get in touch, for the right axe I may even divert my travels.
@Ashadowtotheworld - well, I know well music stores around Monterey or Santa Cruz or San Francisco but any Guitar Center (it is the biggest chain stores in US) in LA or in the East Coast would have quite a few decent instruments and folks there are usually very friendly with giving directions where to find the right axe, You can look on the Internet what they (Guitar Center) carry but it is a good idea to give them a call first (they don't have all the stuff in the stores)
@MUELLMUSIC - thanks, my friend, for the comment. it is an active pickup. I do love this guitar - so comfortable to play. Great instrument. I paid about 800 dollars (used)
@MUELLMUSIC - this is i2P with S.Duncan pick ups and a piezzo - also there a switch (tone control button) to make a single coil as an option to humbuckers - indeed, a very versatile instrument
i would like to ask a question about the neck of that beautifull brian moore..wasn't able to get my hands on one yet..so what does it fell like? seems rather like a wide and fet neck..is it? thank you for your reply.. ;)

you are very kind. well, i graduated from a school of classical guitar and then I played in a few bands simi pro. the background is from Mark Seal and the melody is mine. He made just a chord progression the rest is mine. Thanks for watchin. Rock on!
Thanks, man! Yeah, I love this guitar - I have a few Gibsons but I love this better - well, it is a bit different. The backing track is from Mark Seal. Really nice tune - you can build a lot impro. with it. I can show you if you are interested. You can also find it on youtube his lessons. He is a great guy. Greets from USA! Germany is a great country!
yeah, it is absolutely gorgeous instrument. It plays great and sounds great too. Please remember that this is very compressed sound and my camera is far from the best for sound. Thanks for your comment, my friend!!!
