i'm sorry you lost so many bettas. D: it could be the supplier you get them from. what size tank did you have them in? how often did you change their water? i'm not saying you were a bad fish dad, they're just the first two questions to mind when someone has an illness/mysterious death. he certainly looked lovely. D:
@Luimeril Well I changed their water once a week and fed them 1 a day and they're now kept in a big 1 liter jar now. 5 more died after this video and my brother in law said that it was the water temp because its winter over here and I don't have a heater for them. Its almost as if they caught a cold lol. But yeah they're doing a lot better now. :) thanks for your concern :D
it's possible that it was a combination of cold, and water quality. in anything smaller than 5 gallons, you should do about 2 water changes a week. one should be where you stir up any gravel or the bottom of the tank then dump/scoop out 50% of the water, and the other should be a full 100% water change. most of my tanks are 2 gallons, but in the two that are 1 gallon, i have to do three water changes a week. x: i hope you get everything set up so they can live happy! :3
