I would appreciate if you tell me if you are 100% happy with your video card. Tell me what you would recommend. I am tired of my old PC. I am thinking about building, since that manufactured PCs dont have good videos cards. Do you live around boston?
@totoni2000 Hey there - I currently have a GTX 275 (eVGA) and it has been a great card to date. The bigger question is what type of CPU are you going to pair with the new GPU? CPU is more critical. I certainly recommend building. It's pretty easy, a lot of fun and a lot cheaper. I live in the midwest. Head over to flightsimworld-com and post on the tech. area for suggestions. I would go i7 with 470 or 480 gtx +/- with Windows 7
Gidday fellas. How did you guys achieve such good graphics. Ive got mine on max, but don't get the same resolution as you. There seems to be so much detail of the areas above Prospect reservoir.
@Nickclappo Hey there - I think you are probably seeing the works of ORBX software - FTX Australia Blue. Head over to ORBX to see their collection of very nice addon softwares. They really make the flying experience top notch. I am currently spending a lot of time in their newly released location - USA : Pacific North West.
Yeah, ha - no kidding... I am lucky the wings didn't get ripped off. I was fast the entire flight... I am EGT was up there.... leaned out and never kicked the pitch back on the prop.... absolutely horrible pilotage but fun nonetheless..
Thanks - no, no real flying. I don't have the time nor the money to take on that endeavor. Well, I did head up in a Cessna Encore+ day before yesterday - does that count for anything?
Well... debatable. Some people consider it a game, others consider it a simulator. You can go as far as you want to in terms of real worth aviation practices or you can make it completely a game. That's the beauty of the simulator / game - it is what you make it. Check out Microsoft Flight Simulator any where on the web to get more information.
Thanks. The video was much more and exercise to get my editor to do what I suspected it would do. Trying to get the gist of resolutions and conversions from the Matrox 3H2Go default resolution.
The soundtrack is La Salle Neige - San Francisco ( which I subsequently misspelled at the end of the video in a rush...sigh...)
