a camera, imovie, and lots of patience. if you don't know the technique, its called stop motion animation, you can google it for descriptions but also check out my group, i made it as an attempt to share with people things i've learned about this. also, check out MarinoKit (below) he's done a whole mini movie this smooth as well as great effects etc. i dont know where he got the time to make them but theyre awesome and if you like this type of animation you can't miss them!

the original idea was to see what would happen if i didn't worry about how little time i had and just took my time working slowly to make sure that the movements were smooth, i didn't get very far because of course i ran out of time, but its nice for me to see that i could do better movements.

ive allways thought of doing one outside the effect on the trees is great!! really brings the screen alive.. ive allways made background sets,, not a very large window of time to work with though ;0 ~check out my video pleez... ~cheerz

nope, just a lot of pictures and very small movements, takes a heck of a lot of time though, and i'm really tall so sometimes its hard for me to sit hunched over them for so long, my back gets sore :)

u can use simple softwares like Windows movie maker or softwares like adobe premiere hehe.
