A book in this regard has already been published. Tajmahal is indeed a an Ancient Shiva Temple. Moghuls wre known to distort the Hindu Worship places. They have done it everywhere from Ayodha(Ram), Mathura( Krishna's birth place), Kashi( Lord Shiva's place)

Theres a lot of supporting data that proves the Taj Mahal is actually an ancient Hindu temple and according to me the Kalash is the most striking symbol of them all!! There is a possibility that those commissioned to build the monument were hindus and left some hidden symbols etc as a sign of freedom from oppression and foreign rule as they wouldnt have been noticed by people in that time. However, the innumerable inconsistencies cannot be ignored.
