  • It is so amazing to me that the richest community in California (Indian Wells) is only a 30 minute trip up the freeway from the poorest community, Mecca... something is wrong....

  • Oh my gosh, I am a teacher in Mecca, though I live in Indio. A 30 minute drive-and "worlds" away. I would love to see this full documentary. The children I teach often do not have what I would consider "basic" living requirements such as electricity, shampoo, pencils at home, a bed...They are the children of extreme poverty, and as their teacher (6th grade) I love them...
